I work for the national health service in the United Kingdom. I regularly see Polish speaking patients, and so I am making efforts to try and say basic Polish phrases in attempts to make them feel more at home. I also find the challenge of learning a new language fun! I also have some Polish colleagues who can further help me facilitate my learning 😊😊
Both my parents were children of Polish immigrants to the USA. We spoke English only growing up. I did not have much interest in my heritage until about age 58 or 59. At that age I started to develop an interest in knowing more about my heritage. I wanted to read the Bible and pray to the Lord in the language of my ancestors. It has bern very satisfying. Thank you for these lessons!! Paul P. Czajkowski

My girlfriend is Polish and her mum doesn't speak any English so I'm trying to learn the language so I can enjoy her company more when i visit. I went to Krakow earlier this year and had an amazing time with the little Polish I've learned so far. lubię polską kuchnię i koty 🐱❤
I have a soft spot for Poland, and Warsaw in particular. First time I went there was 2 years ago and have been going there multiple times a year now. Met some of the most amazing people there, and can't wait to come back. I've been doing some Duolingo but I feel that with duolingo I just memorize it, but this channel really helps me learn the grammar behind it all so thank you for that!

I’m Polish on my dad’s (Mr. Tatuś!) side. I want so much to connect more with my Polish heritage and as a language lover, I feel it’s not fully possible without learning the language. So much about a culture’s identity is wrapped up in its language. Cześć to all of you out there on this journey! 😊

I realize that I seem to have a gift for languages. I was researching the history of every Latin letter in childhood. I find the variety of symbols used to write sounds endlessly fascinating. I also find the variety of sounds used to indicate meaning endlessly fascinating. I seem to easily keep track of different pronunciation schemes for the Latin alphabet depending on language. I have a friend in Poland. I like the genuineness of Eastern European people as well. jenkUye!
I initially wanted to learn polish because I really love polish music and the way the language sounds :) but I've also really fallen in love with the food and culture and I go to polish supermarkets frequently.
Hi, I am an American whose family came from Poland. Poznan originally. It has always been my dream to go visit my relatives there and see the country. I am currently studying abroad in France and I have finally gotten in contact with my family in Poland and will be going to visit them in June! Trying to learn as much vocabulary and basic conversational phrases as possible in Polish. It was not passed down to my dad or us kids. My relative there speaks both English and Polish so he will mostly be translating for me, but I would still like to show that I have put in some effort.

They also urged me to learn Polish and where somewhat surprised that after working 9 months with them I wasn't fluent in Polish. Also, I started to like Polish people and Poland so I'm very motivated to learn Polish and to go for a longer trips to Poland. Also, Polish is somewhat similar to Croatian so I may have a bit easier time learning it. Dziękuję bardzo za lekcje!

As I research my Polish heritage and learn about Poland, I want to learn the language of my grandparents who came to America (from Galicia) in the late 1890s early 1900s. I also plan to visit Poland in the next year or 2.
Wonderful lesson. As a Spanish language native one has to be careful when reading other languages; the Polish language is quite challenging, that's my reason
I want to learn it because i already have experience in Czech and Ukrainian, learnt them for a while (not at the same time) and also because polish looks cool. I can speak Norwegian and french so i wanted to learn a popular Slavic language
Both my grandparents are polish. Sadly my grandfather passed away a year ago and only one of their two children can understand (not speak) polish. So i thought i could make my grandmother happy if i could speak polish with her.
Slavic languages are similar, but some of them sounds softer. For example, “milo” in Russian and Belarusian means “cute”, so Polish “Nice to meet you” sounds cute for the native speakers of these languages :) And you (I mean the chanel’s author) is very cute and beautiful :) Thanks for these short videos!
I am learning so I can communicate with my boyfriend and his family better. They all know English too, but I find the language fascinating and it is a part of him and his family, so I want to learn it as well. :)

Why did I decide to learn to speak some polish? Because the love of my life is the first member of her family to be born in the United States and the rest of them are from Poland Jared even though they all speak English, I would like to show her how much I care about her and her family by learning some basic polish
I met a cute polish girl through some mutual friends. She invited me to come visit her in Poland in a few months' time, and I really would like to show her that I'm willing to learn her native languauge.
It's worth mentioning that in Polish we don't put space between a word and the question mark, neither capitalize "you" (well, this one is more complicated, as we do sometimes). When it comes to pronunciation, it is clear and useful!
Hello! I have been learning Polish for 3 years because I have a lot of Polish friends and would like to communicate with them in their own language. However, I can understand written material at an intermediate level and I can speak a little bit, but my aural comprehension is at a low level particularly when my friends speak fast!
Surely I love the polish accent As I come across two ladies having a conversation and like to complicate or confused some , learning and speaking some polish will boost some accents that I bring with others languages would want to feel how I would sound with lol 😂
Very large polish community near me outside Chicago. The closest Catholic parishes have Mass in Polish, plus I have a great devotion to Saint Faustina.
I decided to learn Polish to connect to my heritage more. We have some traditions in place like various cooking and singing Happy Birthday. I think it would be really great to become a part of the community.
My boyfriend and his family are all from Poland. His family knows Swedish (my first language) but it would be nice to be able to communicate with them easier :)
I have been learning Polish in the hope of teaching English in Poland. That's the object of my dream .The grammar is a koszmar (nightmare) because of all the different endings to words that English no longer bothers with.. I know I do not need to understand or learn them all but I find even holding a very basic Polish conversation or reading Polish hard. Best wishes to everyone. Happy learning...
It is my favorite slavic language, I like the sounding and the letters too... And maybe I love a Polish girl (who is blonde too). (and I also want to visit Poland... it looks a nice country) I like to learn languages anyways... Btw, I'm Hungarian, and hungarian is one of the most difficult languages... And there is also a Polish woman (Olga Groszek), who learns hungarian language...
Since I learned that i had cousins in Poland, i gained a random intrest into the language, so I decided I wanted to learn it, also i am planning to move to poland, and so I can inpress my friends.
I work with a lot of polish people here in Scotland and It would be good to be able to speak to them in polish. I would like to learn another language anyway so i just decided to try learning polish.
I met a girl in Poland and we fell in love , I speak English and she speaks polish so for now we use a translator that translates audio and we are both learning each others language so we can communicate even better , I am hoping by the end of the year I can speak a little for when I go to stay with her and meet her family :)
I joined a huge building project (85 000 m²) where I will inspect the area for any fire safety issues. Many builders are polish and I just wanted to be a less annoying inspector. Maybe they will appreciate me trying 😅 The project will go on for many years, so a few words/phrases will come in handy.
Swietny film!!!! Your videos are very helpful. I am learning Polish becuase one of my friends is a Polish Bee Keeper and it would be great to speak both languages. So, the guy you started dating is from England or U.K region? That area of the world is where the English language is an actual native language.

However, I can understand written material at an intermediate level and I can speak a little bit, but my aural comprehension is at a low level particularly when my friends speak fast!
Surely I love the polish accent As I come across two ladies having a conversation and like to complicate or confused some , learning and speaking some polish will boost some accents that I bring with others languages would want to feel how I would sound with lol 😂
learning for my lover 🫶
Very large polish community near me outside Chicago. The closest Catholic parishes have Mass in Polish, plus I have a great devotion to Saint Faustina.
I decided to learn Polish to connect to my heritage more. We have some traditions in place like various cooking and singing Happy Birthday. I think it would be really great to become a part of the community.
Sounds like a great idea! Speaking the same language definitely connects people more :)
My boyfriend and his family are all from Poland. His family knows Swedish (my first language) but it would be nice to be able to communicate with them easier :)
I was told by my father’s side of the family that I am polish. I am digging into my roots and learning about myself.
That's true, compared to English, Polish grammar is a bit of a koszmar :) Wishing you lots of luck!
I'm due to visit my relatives in Poland, and I'm super excited as I've never been! I'd love yo be able to chat a little and understand them too
Great to hear! Hopefully our lessons will help with that :)
Great to hear, good luck! Powodzenia :)
I am a homecare professional one of my clients is Polish so I thought it would make the guy happy as he is paralysed
I met a girl in Poland and we fell in love , I speak English and she speaks polish so for now we use a translator that translates audio and we are both learning each others language so we can communicate even better , I am hoping by the end of the year I can speak a little for when I go to stay with her and meet her family :)
fingers crossed for your progres :)
@@polishwithblondes Thank you very much 🙏I am studying hard every day.
Amazing.could you make a video how to communicate with little kids as a native english speaker who doesnt understand polish?
I joined a huge building project (85 000 m²) where I will inspect the area for any fire safety issues. Many builders are polish and I just wanted to be a less annoying inspector. Maybe they will appreciate me trying 😅 The project will go on for many years, so a few words/phrases will come in handy.
Swietny film!!!! Your videos are very helpful. I am learning Polish becuase one of my friends is a Polish Bee Keeper and it would be great to speak both languages.
