COMPONENTS - No complaints here. The dice, boards, campaign envelopes, and campaign book all do the job and work well.

What is your opinion on the rulebook? No complaints there?
It’s not the best… there were edge cases I wasn’t 100% sure of. But it also didn’t stand out as terrible or impossible to learn from
@@OneStopCoopShop Thank you very much for replying. I heard terrible things about it and since I dealt with several really bad ones lately, the prospect of an other one kept me from purchasing.
I did have to check a few things on BGG, so it’s definitely not a paragon of perfection
Great stuff Mike! I have this one sitting on my shelf ready to go (once I'm done playing all 600 of the other games I received before it...)
It’s a good and a bad problem to have 😅😅
Great review! I am having a ton of fun with this game. I guess I don't mind one-shotting the big bad from time to time because it makes me feel like I did something right during the game. I think there is opportunity for some more challenge and variety, but, overall, I like it a lot. Sometimes I like to win a solo game. 😃
That’s a great point! The one-shot certainly takes careful planning throughout the rest of the run
Wreckland Run looks fun, but if I could tell Renegade Games Studio one thing, it would be PLEASE make an expansion for Terror Below--more weapons, more characters, and vehicles would rock!
I’ve heard fun things about that one!
The rules are getting more define on BGG ( latest update of the uno FAQ was the 9 of February) now is a good time to get the game and the expansion at the same time, it a 3 chapter follow up after the main campaign) Realy fun games you should give it a try. I got Terror Below in my basket on their web site with the little expension (I know it not that big of an expansion but I like the worm mini). I dig the Tremors theme in that one and the Mad Max theme in Wreckland Run.
Two great movies/franchises!
Great review as always, any 2 player variant coming for this?! Hahaha
Haha, that’d be cool. Have two cars next to each other, sharing enemies in between…
My biggest issue with this is the shoehorned campaign. My god. Please stop with the campaigns! Especially for small games like this. This game would have been much better if it was just a one and done rogue-lite game like Mini Rogue, Rogue Dungeon, or Unbroken. Just mix everything together, shuffle, and see how far you can get, or see how many bosses you can destroy in a run.
I feel you on “too many campaigns” syndrome. Though it’s super minor here. You can easily play as a series of one-offs if you want
Good review, think I'll pass on this one. I used to love Steve Jackson's Car Wars back in the day.
Me too! Lots of fun battles and races.
Hmmm the dearth of actual positives on this one has me wary. I think Ill give it a skip.
Was kinda disappointed with this one as a follow up to Warp's edge. Plus I wonder who wrote the story, its really not well written, seems like it was by a non native speaker, but that wouldn't make sense
I had similar feelings about the story in proving grounds… not sure what their process is
@@OneStopCoopShop Warp's edge wasn't that much better
Agreed. I just love the gameplay so much that it SEEMED like better writing ;)
Personally, the best thing that came out of this campaign was more Warp's Edge content.
Even if Wreckland was fully exceptional, that would still be the case for me ;)
