Great playthrough, I love this game solo, its quick and easy and has a great thematic story line/ campaign . A quick bonus for you @18:27 you said that crossfire does 3 damage, it actually does 4! You are also a person and you DO count as one for crossfire (this has been confirmed by Jacob the designer somewhere but I forget where)
Oh crud, really!? That's great. I always thought that trap was a little underpowered, so even a +1 bonus for yourself would improve it.
fun little game with the artwork makes it more family friendly
Sean Morgan that’s a great point! If it was less cutesy and more real, I couldn’t show it to my kids :)
Nice video. You played it really well.
Per Hallberg thank you sir!
Tip: The Crossfire card ALSO counts your character as a Person, so you always have at least 1 kill with it, and four at the 18:40 moment. :-)
The developer, Jacob Fryxelius, have put down a list of easy to miss first-time-reminders here: boardgamegeek.com/thread/1877077/first-time-reminders
Edit: I saw now that you already got a heads up on that one, I'll leave my note for the useful link.
This is great. Thanks!
Loved this game. It is really hard though.
kirkbeiser for sure, especially some missions (with some characters)
Purchased to play solo on a recommendation. Played it a handful of times and traded it for Fallout instead.
The game is brutally difficult with very little sense of agency IMO. I don’t mind hard games but I do mind when I feel like I have no recourse against it.
I know some will disagree with me but many I’ve spoke to also agree.
Sorry that was your experience! I haven't found it too difficult, but I'll note that one of the early scenarios was errata-ed by the designer, so maybe that 's where things went south...
One Stop Co-op Shop possibly. I started with the first scenario and only made it to the forth. After that, I didn’t advance much further. I think the trade for Fallout was a better deal in the end.
@@victorgonzalez2927 oh, that's definitely an upgrade in monetary value!
Really good solo game!! Just wish the art was more realistic though.
Gustave154 mostly agree, though if it was the usual bloody zombie fare my kids couldn’t play :)
As much as i like the setting and gameplay, the artwork is really really not my cup of tea
I'm able to ignore it while playing, but I agree with you.
If you go to Boardgamegeek, you can see all kinds of fan-made alternate art, using different themes.
Mission 1B nearly impossible. Botched mission design imho.
Did you see the official errata that made it a little easier? I still agree it's an error that should have been fixed. Worst case you can just skip that one :)
