I hate that she said that being a Pinterest mom is "definitely something I wish I could do". You're raising two children and working full time (and commuting three hours every day). That's enough. What you are already doing is more than enough. I think it's fun and doable to make puzzle sandwiches once a month, but every day seems like even the children would stop finding it exciting and fun. Moms, you are perfect and enough just the way you are!

I used to work in daycare and then as a nanny. The crayon project was always a hit! We used our old crayon stumps. The kids were always wowed by their final product and enthusiastically occupied with drawing for twice as long as usual afterwards. The silicone mold can be used for your next accumulation of crayon stumps or other crafts.
I'd say it's still worth it to try this stuff with your kids on the weekends, when you have more time.
The memories will stay with them forever!

I do this stuff to an extent. I did a whole DIY Harry Potter party for my daughter. I made the signs for the stores, I made the candles that hung from the ceiling, the cake and everything. I don't do anything like that everyday but when it counts I do.
I did all of our Harry Potter Christmas decorations. I don't do that very often but sometimes I will. The kids loved it.

FYI on the soda popcicles, you need to flatten the soda so the fizzy bubbles don't expand in the freezer.
Lay the Popsicles flat in the freezer and whatever is in it wont be stuck at one end.too.

i have to say I love watching your videos and both of your kids are adorable. The 2 of you are doing a great job as parents. I love how Wyatt will ( most times) repeat or go along with what his big brother says although for being so young he knows a lot about what he really likes. Impressed me on the video where you devoted a day with each of them Sat - Jackson skateboarding - hee hee maybe you could just sit on it and let the kids push you 😅 Sunday - Wyatt ( spa day lol) i also liked date night - encouraged me to do the same.
