    Great Video!
    I just had a problem with mine this last week. I have 5.something volts out of the transormer hitting the board. But mine does not always "buzz" when being plugged in. Some times I have to open the blade, start it and then close the blade. I also had to wiggle the blade drive to get it to run. Motor maybe? It also makes a kind of rattly sound in high speed.

      Les Garten hello. I am glad you enjoy my video. If the motor has a dead spot on the armature and you have to push drive to get it to work then you will need a motor but if the transformer is not pushing the correct power then you will need a new cord. Hope I helped and thanks for watching

    Would there be a reason why my 5 speed is loud ?
    It has been this way since I bought them. I am desperate I absolutely cannot hold the 2 speed clippers anymore. Gonna fix this first.

      Hello. There can be many reasons. If they don't leave lines and they cut okay. I really wouldn't worry about it. But if they are not working right I can repair them for you

    Great vid! I just put a new switch pad, the black rubber part, in my wife's clipper. I watched your vid to be sure everything was in place. When I plug it in, the motor turns very briefly with a buzz, and then nothing. There's no response from the switch. I take it apart and put it back together and repeat. Once I plug it in and it does its brief little buzz...nothing? And ideas?? Thanks!!

      James Pasola hello. Np. hmmm. If it buzzes for a second then that tells you the transformer is good. Wiggle the cord while it's plugged in and if it cuts on and out then that's the problem. While it is plugged in try to move the motor to see if it comes on the motor is bad. To test the switch you will need an ohm meter and test for DC out of the brushes. Hope that helped. Thanks for watching.

      Thanks for the quick reply! I've wiggled the chord and explored that angle. When I plug it in it actually moves the head a bit. So I don't think the motor is frozen. I'm guessing the switch is damaged. The on/off rubber was broken off for a while and she was poking stuff in there to turn it on/off. New switch assembly is only $15. I think I'll go for it. Thanks again!

    Hello, I was in the middle of using clippers turn off clippers to use blade cooling spray, when I tried to turn the clippers on no power.I open it up like you did everything looked attached and not signs of anything burned. Plugged back in and hear a brief buzzing, now nothing? Motor, cord help I have a half shaved poodle 🐩🙄

      Hello. Try to push the power button a few times it should turn on bc it might be going bad or oil the blade after cool spay bc the blade might be seized up. but if it doesn't then the transformer at the end of the cord will not regulate the correct power for it to run and will need to be replaced

      @@cloudsdiamondsharpening3973 Hello I tried to hit the power switch I can hear clicks on all three switches. I have removed ceramic plate and removed any fur that was their oiled blades for free sliding.Still no power how can I test for motor or transform?

      @cloudsdiamondsharpening3973  8 років тому

      Christina Figueroa Not getting any power could be many different problems. probably not the switch. my first guess would be the cord. you'll have to check the cord with an ohm meter to see if its good.
