Bro..you saved me and my cousins life tonight...leaving wedding late tonight and cousin locks his keys in the trunk. We googled and read everything: some said the seats come down and you will have access to trunk (FALSE) another ford forum said there was a yellow button in glove compartment to open (FALSE AGAIN), so we called all 24 hour locksmiths in the Greater Houston area, all said they couldn't get us until the morning. Wedding ended at 12, everyone leaves to go to party, but we're stuck (luckily with a 24 pack of Heineken) I stumbled on your video at 1:30amCT, after googling "how to break into 2005 mustang GT trunk"; he was actually looking for a screwdriver to break into it and I saw this video and couldn't believe it. Found an old spiral notebook, did what you said and heard that "click" We were so outta there that we ran back to open the trunk and let it close on us again. This time we put the beers down and did it again. I had to type this long post just to say thanks for posting this because you are fuckin awesome we would have been so screwed if it wasn't for this video.

I would say the hardest part was to open the hood from underneath, other than that, easy peasy 😁😎😉 thank you so much!!!!!!

I have had the car for 5 years and this was the first time I had to use the spare key only to find out that the dealer's spare doesn't work on the trunk. One wire jumpered across the relay and the trunk popped.
I don’t know if this happened to other people but when I did this it burned out my fuse box and caused a huge electrical issue in the car, so just be careful
I have a 2006 Mustang Convertible and yesterday 12/14/20 I locked my key in the trunk. While waiting for AAA to come another Mustang Convertible pulled up near my car. As the man walked by my car I asked him if he would try his key in my Trunk and low and behold it opened my trunk. Is this suppose to happen. I am still very much surprised.

I must not have been putting it in the right spots sorry the video was so immature but that was the first video I've ever done so sorry but it works I think it also works on non convertibles as well and other years and possibly other vehicles that have a Electric trunk relay another trick on other vehicles for Commerce which is you take the door popper button out of the door you run a direct wire from the positive side of your battery 2 the positive side of the switch just be careful if it doesn't pop right away go to the next wire if it doesn't work it doesn't work nine times out of ten it will I carry with me a long wire with a 20 amp fuse in it just for that application... Sorry locksmiths I know giving away our secrets the head I'm not a certified locksmith anymore and beware of the fake locksmith if they can't give you a price before they come out try to get somebody local.. Look up Israeli locksmith scam.
