Love the vid. I am one of 11 people on the planet with my particular neurological 'condition' affecting my arms and legs (requiring a wheelchair for mobility). I've been driving in Australi for 45 years with hand controls, with some dirt track speedway along the way. Current daily-driver is a '99 Jeep WG (WJ in USA) 4.7 V8 Grand Cherokee Limited, factory 'Special' [build sheet performance and handling options]. Love it and drive it like I stole it! Has NOT given me a single problem in nearly five years of ownership!

I know my amputation isn't as drastic as others, but it is about 1/3 of my right foot. The subject of retaking my drivers test never even came up. At first I drove my brother's car with my left foot until I felt comfortable using my right one again. My car was a straight shift. A year later, when I got a CDL, obviously we talked about it at my DOT physical. I have always passed. Regulations may have gotten a lot stricter since then. That was 16 years ago.
