I've been making a charcoal illustration of Feyre and the Weaver, and this was definitely playing on repeat while I worked on it! Beautiful!

I'm back, I finished ACOMAF, and it was pretty amazing. Now onto ACOWAR. This song is exactly how I would imagine the Weaver to be singing it. The lyrics seem to be very similar to the lyrics of the song "The Bonny Swans" sung by Loreena Mckennit. I heard Sarah J. Maas was a large fan of her songs

It IS The Bonny Swans by Loreena McKennitt. I just commented above that the lyrics were taken from McKennitt, but she wasn't credited. People have lost copyright suits for a lot less than this. And they should lose, if they let a huge group of people think that they thought of words like this when they barely even modified the best parts.

I'm pretty sure Maas was inspired by an old English ballad called "Two Sisters" or "The Cruel Sister". The story lines are very similar.
