I only forget because I read faster then I should, because I'm the slow reader who reads 10-20 pages a day a remember them perfectly if I read slow. Times I read fast because I feel un-smart when reading slow

I’m the fan girl but I’m also something I like to call “the daydreamer”. I’m ALWAYS thinking about the book I’m reading. It could be the middle of the night and I’m thinking about the characters and what will happen next. When I finish the book I find myself imagining what the character’s lives would be like after the book has ended.
I am that kind of a reader who doesn’t like to share the names of her favourite books because they are my favourite and if someone else will read them then they will become their favourite and I don’t share. So sorry.

I'm the writer. Sometimes books have such cringy lines it's hard not to laugh at them.
sometimes it's not even errors, sometimes it's just so badly written that you just have to question how the editor missed it. You can totally still like the books, but that one line always gets you.

The Loner - readers who prefer to be alone and usually read to escape reality or annoying situations. Usually blocking out anything and anyone, and will lock themselves in their room for hours. Prefering their book as company than actual people.

I use sticky notes and write down in a notebook the exact line,page and my thoughts just so I don’t have to mess up my books😂
I only highlight my school reading books. But then I’ve read them so much that the highlighted bits are completely normalised in my head.
I never highlight on books, simply because they're all too precious for me. Instead I write everything down on my notebooks.
I used to be a skimmer, but I learned that it was much more relaxing to read whole chapters than deciding what to skim and not to skim.
I have to have my phone next to me so that if I come across a word I don't know I HAVE to search it up so I can continue reading...I also make flashcards for the words....is that too much?
I usually just use context clues but I look them up sometimes...

you missed out me the type of reader who is too conscious to read in her group of friends readers who judge her for the genres she reads because they think they are boring and while they fangirl about the books they are reading she can't because no one reads the genre she reads and no one's interested in the book she is Reading so she quietly reads only when she's alone instead, keeping everything to herself

I’m the one that has no self control and finishes a 900 page Harry Potter book reading for 5 hours straight.
@Sara Jeanne I would've probably only be able to read 2/3 of 900 pages in 5 hours:) I'm just a slow reader because every character has its own voice. The Ents for example have an extremely slow/deep voice, so it takes me a lot longer to read, u know;) Besides I try to focus more on comprehension than speed!
It’s so sad to say that I am all of them, but mostly the fan girl.
Whenever I read it’s like I’m reading to myself and someone else at the same time. I stomp and squeal when my fav couple kisses or when a character does something I hate. Idk, feels more interactive

i'm the re-reader + analyzer. i can't read one sentence without thinking about it for minutes and then my brain gets too full so i stop reading 😂

Omg I was the self spoiler, but only for the Hunger Games series. We have the same taste in books!!! Also I think im a different archetype... i guess it would be called the freaked out reader or something XD but basically when something exciting, emotional, romantic or scary happens in a book i literally start jumping around or have to walk around squealing and screaming for a few minutes, essentially having short freak out, before I can return to reading.
Hahaha I always spoils myself. But there are rare times where I hate spoilers. I hate myself for spoiling me. XD
I am the fangirl and I can’t even. It’s so beautiful. The Mortal Instruments book set is so incredible I love it so much! Clace is my everything they deserved so much better than what they got 😭
When there’s an awkward situation or dialogue happening I just have to close my eyes and breathe and to tell myself that they are just words on a page, this is not happening to YOU.

you forgot the additive reader: people who actually like to read but find themselfs reading for 3-4 hours then go to bed at 3:00 in the morning or read the entire day. ( once, I finished a 358 book 32 hours after I brought it. including going to school and sleeping and stuff, and it was only a book in my 5th favorite series. when I was done I read it 2 more times in the next month.)
Ikr, that is totally me. I can read 60 pages in 30 mins. I usually buy books and finish it that same night.

We need to create a fast readers' book club. I can't join a regular book club because I get to impatient to finish the book, because everyone else reads so slowly. Can someone actually please start one? Like actually?
When I was eleven I read a 315 p. book in less than eight hours, I got home after school at 3pm and started it right away and kept reading non-stop, honestly, I've no idea how I did that.
