My list (prob better than the video) >> 1. Create character, Seasonal Realm, WT2, equip pet. 2. Go to Helltide, level up to 33, during this phase, proceed to critical dungeons for build defining basic aspect power (if item does not drop) - Salvage all items you gather for mats - Don't forget to drink Elixirs! 3. From at least level 33, ensure items are tempered for big boost, proceed to complete Capstone Dungeon and go to WT3. 4. In WT3, go into Helltide to gather as many SACRED Items (yellows is fine for now) in a short time span, then go to Occultist and imprint the build aspects onto the sacred items to ensure a smooth transition to Sacred gear. 5. Chain run Sacred Nightmare Dungeons as high as possible (monster level max 30 levels higher only if possible), gather and level glyphs for build up to level 53/54. Keep equipping better gear as you progress towards level 53/54. 6. Proceed to temper all sacred gear before proceeding to do next Capstone Dungeon and go to WT4. 7. In WT4, go into Helltide to gather as many ANCESTRAL Items (yellows is fine for now) in a short time span, then go to Occultist and imprint the build aspects onto the sacred items to ensure a smooth transition to Ancestral gear. 8. Chain run Ancestral Nightmare Dungeons as high as possible, with monsters max 30 levels higher is character strong enough to speed farm this content. Keep salvaging gear being gathered, tempering updated gear from time to time (only if gear piece is a significant upgrade). This can take you all the way to level 100 if you prefer! 9. Explore the season mechanic (maybe WT3) to see how to Exp is, as it may be just as good as Helltide and Dungeons, but by doing dungeons, you get to level glyphs along the way and then can focus on the finer late game details at a later stage (after level 100). Excited to give it my best shot in my first lengthy livestream on season launch!!
I tried my best to address some points in my personal opinion, I know I have alot to work on in terms of my clarity :) but this has been fun. Very excited for Season 5, gonna blast on launch and see what this casual gamer dad can do! Be Blessed all - SkinneR
Really enjoyed the video. Personally have been playing since the closed beta of season 1 but have been looking into what is out there for Diablo 4 casual newbies. Been pondering starting a channel for older casual gamers (63 here myself) who are new to the ARPG genre of games, since I have played most of the games since their conception (I am really old) and would love to talk with you about your thoughts on that, without taking away from yours, and maybe collaborating in some say. Also, I don't think you can break an item any just tempering or adding regular Affixes. I may be wrong. Keep up the good work, and clicked the Like and Subscribe button.
Wow thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it. I certainly fit the casual noobie part, with my day job and family always keeping me busy :) You are not old sir, just a very good age and may there be many more :) Always willing to learn so any tips or anything you want to engage about, I will enjoy that alot. I have an updated Shred build coming in the next few days. I hope it will work well as I am currently doing some casual testing :)
Hey t hanks for nice video! i had some ideas on the way: before capstone one you will be visiting town too, i was thinking if you dont change oneweapon and change others also dont change ring much t hen on those u dont change, to make things go faster, maybe its better to temper simple damage tempering as well on the way. Another thing, yes tier 3-4 NMD is faster way but u dont get helltide specific loot there and also in helltide can use mindcages to boost up 30lvl area, getting 30 lvl higher NMD that you like can be expencive cos of dust, and we need helltide mats fo upgrade and also steel boss farming for uniques so im thinking maybe helltide is better.. or maybe both equally, cos need to lvl glyph and also helltide mats. anyway, today..7h 30 min to go, dont forget to start downloading the game 1 hour before start. and yeah..should be fine
Thanks for the comment! I agree with your point with helltides, although yesterday when I was practice running, as soon as I did a T1 NMD, the exp gain felt significant! So in terms of just pure levelling, then NMD seems better (and glyph exp bonus too), but for all other mats / resources, then Helltide the way to go. But those I will focus on after getting to 100, as this will be my first "race" to 100, playing Druid Shred, I know I will suffer :( But I am so excited, yes pre-downloading :) Have a great day - Be Blessed - SkinneR
@@thE_SkinneR dont forget to pet the kitty before boss kill, can drop dual Grandpas :D heh but yeah..we will race here too 1-100 HC SSF style no trading no teams. so some uniques can help much but idk if its worth risking to go for steel boss farming in tier 3, better if then later. tier 3 we must do as fast as possible and game begins in T4. in helltide there main risk is that you never know what kind of Hellborn is gonna spawn after waves, some can be very deadly, in nmd there is no such risk. beginning T3 or T4 probably res and armor are not capped and as to armor..then yes we all know for lvl 100 mobs u need 9350ish arm but my problem is that when i am like lvl 35 going T3 helltide lvl 58 mobs, what number armor i need to have then? is there a spreadsheet somewhere i could look what is armor cap for what lvl mobs depending my lvl. i have looked but havent found. we need that
@@jaanuskrevald5456 Always give them a good Pet!! :) As for armor, during my practice run, I went for 1st Capstone at level 30, with 2582 armor and no defensive aspects, and I was perfectly fine. Went to WT3 and opened T1 NMD, level 55 monsters and was all good. Resistances were average (can be better). So I strongly suggest aim for as close to 3000 as possible at least (for HC). Then tried 2nd Capstone at level 46, had 7562 Armor and 70% fire res, no other defensive aspects, and I was mostly fine, but near end capstone the cannibals and Alias rekt me! So we need Might aspect, Jugger for armor and anything additional that you can find. Be at least level 50 before going, because we get some good early power from paragon we can assign straight away. With HC, maybe we just go at level 54? But I may be way behind in the race at this point.
@@jaanuskrevald5456 ua-cam.com/video/VkZX4W_97BA/v-deo.html Wudijo explains armor way better than me, this is for Season 4, but it should apply the same for Season 5. I am sure you do know him, but if not, suggest subbing to him and following, he got great skill.
