I'd just like to correct you on a minor point. Triss did not move to Novigrad to help the mages because at the time of her moving to Novigrad the Witch Hunts hadn't started. She moved there in 1271 to start a new life, shortly after the Witch Hunts began began in 1272, roughly six months after she moved in.
