That first gulp of water after the lesson, haha... I was about to collapse last week, this heat is freaking REAL, I hit the ground when I dismounted and my legs almost gave out, haha!
Okay, I’m a western rider, but I feel this pain. During warm-up, we trot for SOOOOO long. It feels like forever. Whenever we finally get to walk, I feel like my legs are going to fall off!
I’m learning to ride and I had an ankle sprain a few months back, so I’m going to just going to take it extra slow and only walk for a long time… in the meantime I’m hoping to EXERCISEE before I get to the next stage so I’m able to do it reasonably
I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND. My first time riding we were going down a small hill and I said “slow down please”. I was completely freaking out but I got the hang of it during the third time going around.
YES!! My instructor makes us hold jump seat for 3 minutes every lesson. And sometimes posting without the inside stirrup. 😫😩 And Lord of Heaven above, don’t let her forget about us.
Same I have something similar to asthma so when I ride I have super super bad pains in my chest and calf but it’s to fun to stop so I deal with it and just keep going
I just started cantering/loping and I am flying so high out of the saddle, and my trainer is like "squeeze with your knees" I try too but I am already 2 inches out of the saddle by the time I remember 😂
Hey, I was wondering if you could make a video on everything to look at/for when buying your first horse. I’m 13 and want to get my first horse within a year or two to do eventing with them😁if you do then thx and I love your videos and all of the guides you have righten they have been very helpful and just entertaining.
A bit different but you know when your used to smaller ponies and then randomly you get a 16 hand horse and you dismount and forget your on a 16 hand horse and your whole body just breaks
I had one walk break at one point in a dressage lesson. I didn’t even really notice and wasn’t that tired and the only reason we ended the lesson was because my horse stumbled a bit because he was tired. He wasn’t even out of breath 5 minutes later.
Whenever I go out riding problem is is that because I'm small mine is normally a pony but when I go on hacks my instructors horse is like 17hh! So problem is is there horses walking speed is my ponies trotting speed… 😭
My trainer makes me canter forever and my little pony is galloping full speed and if i slightly ask him to slow down he stops and there is like 1000 people and I’m dying and in my head I’m like say walk say walk say walk lol
I look at it that way at times but at the same time I need practice so I just work through it as hard as possible till my instructor tells to to slow down
Im going to a traning show next month with my aunt, and her horse and my horse (stallion) I'm planning on doing Dressage and Jumping, any tips for the Drassage?
When your in a group lesson and you worry abt getting to close to the horse in front of you and you are praying that you can walk. (Yes ik i could move or make a circle)
Omg I thought we were doing jumping one day and I put my stirrups up like 3 holes like usual and she decided nah we will do dressage for like 40m and made us trot round for a good 10m and my calfs 🔥
Ok long story short I used to be the most nervous rider ever and I’m still a bit nervous but when I was like 9 and riding a would pray that my instructor would lemme walk soon cuz when I was 9 my horse was sooo fast but don’t get me wrong I loved him and I still ride him today
When your stirrups are uneven and she has you 2point at the trot:
*that one calf: 🔥🧨🥵*
yh with my old trainer i always had uneven stirrups and she made me 2-point canter on a rlly fast horse 😭
i ride a bouncy horse so 2point in trot is imposdible
So true!!!! 😭😂
ikrrr
Yeeeessssss
OMG! I am a dressage rider and walking is just the best feeling after trot training!
That first gulp of water after the lesson, haha...
I was about to collapse last week, this heat is freaking REAL, I hit the ground when I dismounted and my legs almost gave out, haha!

Sane haha

same lol last night i was doing some of her horse rideing wotk outs to help u and i also died doing tht
So true! My instructor made me trot round for so long once whilst holding a whip under my thumbs and no stirrups! It was so painful 😂💀
That’s how I feel cantering omg-
The pony I ride is a bit hit or miss when we’re cantering if there’s a puddle in the arena so I just pray that she’ll slow down 🖐️ 😭
Why?
Me every weekend: 😭
Don’t get me wrong I love it but please let me walk I’m about to die 😂
Yes 😂
Ikr 💀🤣✨✋
Im interested in horse back riding lessons. Can you please explain ?
SMH 🤦🏽♂️ that’s me at every lesson 😂😂😂
I'm learning show jumping and omg I sure do love my walk breaks
As a dressage rider that struggles catching my breath I feel this.
I agree, when I do riding I'm having to do a posting trot for ages! I guess it's all part of the earning experience!😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I think I told my instructor Can I please dismount now??!!
It's so tiring, but worth it.
And then:
‘OkaY NOw dROp youR StIrruPS’
When you have a cramp and you have to do a sitting trot:
The relief when they tell you to drop a gear is unreal 😂
Yeah I absolutely can relate. Like when my trainer tells me to drop my stirrups and still post the trot. 😩😵
I can't wait Saturday to come. Every Saturday I have a horse riding lessons and I adore it. But fr I'm gonna die if I don't stop
I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND. My first time riding we were going down a small hill and I said “slow down please”. I was completely freaking out but I got the hang of it during the third time going around.
Yesss especially when I’m not feeling well and my chest hurts I’m just talking in my head like : K say walk now just say it!!!
When your trainer tells you to stand for an entire trot without any reins on the ✨BOUNCIEST✨ horse 😅
that’s just the way things goooo….
😭
“who made the decision to walk?”
“Me?”💀💀💀
When you’ve been two-pointing at the trot for 10 laps straight
YES!! My instructor makes us hold jump seat for 3 minutes every lesson. And sometimes posting without the inside stirrup. 😫😩 And Lord of Heaven above, don’t let her forget about us.
For me, it's when I'm trotting without stirrups.
I literally think this in all of my dressage lessons!
"iF iT dOeSnT hUrT oR kIlL yOu YoUrE nOt DoInG iT rIgHt-" -one of my previous trainers
I always pray that he doesn't give me the bad horse
My aunt says "can i have a walk break" 😂
I do saddle seat btw😭
And when you get those cramps..
I know that feeling when permission to canter is a relief. I way 110kg it's hard to post for 15 minutes straight
Me in my lessons:
I know this ALL TOO WELL! 😅😭😩😂
Lol this is so true , I would literally be dying and I be like come on but all for the greater good built up my endurance and lost weight big plus
Same I have something similar to asthma so when I ride I have super super bad pains in my chest and calf but it’s to fun to stop so I deal with it and just keep going
That's me every time I have to 2point for like 30 minutes of the lesson than I get off and it feels like I sprained my ankle
Nah it’s when the stirrups are loose and she tells you to canter and it’s not a big deal but the horse has a super rough canter TwT
omg fr and she will yell at me when I start to slow down😢
I just started cantering/loping and I am flying so high out of the saddle, and my trainer is like "squeeze with your knees" I try too but I am already 2 inches out of the saddle by the time I remember 😂
Nah that’s me in every lesson bc my pony I ride is LAZY like MY LEGS😢🦵
When my trainer makes us trot with no stirrups 😭
The cramps are insane
No stirrups
When you put your feet back in 😅😅😢😢😢😢feels uneven ol
STOP THIS IS LITTERALLY ME WITH TROTTING 😭😭

SO RELATABLE I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE
Ugh this is with any discipline I feel like 😭I ride western and I get it.
YESSSSS!!! But then after she says to walk, my horse will be stubborn and put his head straight out.. I had to fight to elbows to my side-
This is literally the same in my lesson my foot just randomly starts hurting especially in the two point trot
YES. It hurts so much 💀
Me in every no-sturip lesson😂😂😂😂😂
And then she says "Good! NOW DROP YOUR STIRRUPS AND POST!"
I don’t do dressage but in my lesson we be trotting for 10 mins straight lol
Whenever I go out riding problem is is that because I'm small mine is normally a pony but when I go on hacks my instructors horse is like 17hh! So problem is is there horses walking speed is my ponies trotting speed… 😭

Having a stitch while riding
The 2 point tho it hurts so much 😔
Haha that’s me but just normal lessons I’ll be trotting and hoping they say walk bc I can get a little bit outta breath 😅😂
I look at it that way at times but at the same time I need practice so I just work through it as hard as possible till my instructor tells to to slow down
When their making you do no stirrups when you mess up and you’re praying them to let you grab them***
True, I just got done with one of my lessons
I do showjumping, but y trainer has been doing 'mini dressage courses' to help with my turning, i literally almost passed out after my lesson lol
Hahahahahahha yes
This is sooo true one time I was trotting for 20 minutes straight
im in a flat work class but i can tottally relate
Dressage and flatwork are the same
That happens in my warm up!!
I’m on a western drill team and we first do our drill at a trot before a lope and the whole time I’m like pleeeeease let this end😭😭😂
Truest thing ive ever seen 😂
I feel u! ❤
i would pray that my horse would just stop trotting, my leg would be so sore from posting
Fr tho I do this every time
Yes omg I literally almost pass out
Im going to a traning show next month with my aunt, and her horse and my horse (stallion) I'm planning on doing Dressage and Jumping, any tips for the Drassage?
Omg I do this in every lesson we were trotting for like 20 mins? But my ankle and my calf hurt so bad :`>
Me tho- 😂😂😭
😆 🤣 😂 so true!!!
I’ve never done dressage 😥
When your in a group lesson and you worry abt getting to close to the horse in front of you and you are praying that you can walk. (Yes ik i could move or make a circle)
Usually I'll just tell my instructor: "I'm gonna take a break." And she'll let me walk for a bit. Am I the only one with an instructor like this?
Yeah my instructor if I said that she would say “to bad” and probably make me trot longer
This is so true😂😂
Stop it’s so true!!
So relatable
Feel you 😭
Omg it’s so true!😂
Omg I thought we were doing jumping one day and I put my stirrups up like 3 holes like usual and she decided nah we will do dressage for like 40m and made us trot round for a good 10m and my calfs 🔥
Im not the onllllyyyyy oneee😂😂
So true!😂
This is so true
literally me today
So true😂!!
Oh my gosh so true 😂
Felt this so much
So true 😂
Ok long story short I used to be the most nervous rider ever and I’m still a bit nervous but when I was like 9 and riding a would pray that my instructor would lemme walk soon cuz when I was 9 my horse was sooo fast but don’t get me wrong I loved him and I still ride him today
Yaaaaaaaassssssss
IT HURTS SO BAD
Omg one time I horse was loping and omg we were just “ warming up” I had the worst side stitch
That’s so me😂😊
