It's better than getting hurt trying to hold on for dear life. Sometimes you're better off letting go as some riders have been dragged by the reins or stepped on by the horse due to hanging on. Not to mention it can hurt the horse, too. A little "emergency dismount" is fine.
*me watching this after i turned the corner with my horse while she did a full 360 and flung me off leaving me with a sprained arm and leg and a scrape on my arm but still finished the course i was doing but didnt get a video of it*
At 0:03 She handled it so good and Actually didn’t fall she Went off.Because she know if she didn’t She would be In serious pain and will be getting attention. As a rider I know how to Get off my horse without the stairs witch is helpful so in case I Feel of falling I get off.
It happened to me as well! I was trotting and my horses bitless bridle came undone, luckily he's really good and just stopped. I didn't even notice what happened until I looked cause I was confused as to why he wouldn't go forward.
I love it when riders pat their horses after a fall and or “graceful dismount” it makes me so happy! I absolutely hate it when people discipline their horses for a fall or mistake they could’ve prevented!!
She didn’t halt the horse, it got a bad stride and was being really good and still went over. It wasn’t the horses fault or the riders unless we know for a fact she would’ve made it with a faster canter.
on the jump at 00:16 - 00:20 if you look closely at the last leg coming down it bends into a break and the horse hobbles up check if you don't believe me and look closely as its partly obscured by the jump in a frame or two.
Omg so funny, btw im gonna have jumping competition tommorow so i hope all of this wont happen to me in the competition 🤣🤣thx fol letting me laugh everytime i watch ur vids
Schleich Horse Crazy thank you so much for this! 💗I love this and I will try harder to be fearless, I can jump pretty high 2 :) I’ve only had my boy for a year or so
Haha I know the girl at 0:24 and the venue she seriously paid like £6000 for a 22-23 year old riding school pony my parents would have been like no❤️ 😂
It’s not that big so it’s fine. Your horse has a scopey jump on it then you’ll be able to just do it in trot, I’ve done chunky xc fences in trot before when I was out eventing
Oh my goodness! Is the ground ok?? Sorry I had to say it... although some of these falls look pretty painful and trust me I have had a few pretty good falls as well lol
If you fall you first thought isn’t to let go of the reins, it’s more of an instinct and rush of adrenaline that fogs your thinking. And in some circumstances it’s better to hold onto the reins instead of letting the horse run though for example a field for cross country, there’s no way to know where the horse will go and if they will get injured in that time.
@@Ljhfch some horses go better in a bit where some go better bit less but at even with a bit less bridle you would have to apply a lot more pressure in a situation like that unless the horse is very responsive to it. They only way for pressure to have been avoided is to do an emergency dismount which in that situation wasn’t needed.
I don’t know why, but I really love it when professional riders pat their horses.
Same
They do it to keep the horse calm and feel that they are not doing anything bad so the horse doesn't feel threatend
@@chloebradley2236 I know. ❤️
Sameee

The boy that fell on top of the jump was very impresive
Ik right

1:30 well that’s embarrassing
it’s funny lol not embarrassing it’s happened to me
That happened to me when someone tacked up my horse for me.
I never let anyone tack up for me now lol
0:50. I just love the way he sits there and pays the horse if only I could of landed like that
1:19 The horse is like: "what's going on?" 😄
lol some of theses people are just like “welp I kinda got jostled... SO I’LL JUST LET GO AND FLOP”
Maybee the people who didn’t try to rip up there horses mouth deserve to have a horse 🤣
That’s the goddamn thing to do 😂

This is one of the dumbest comments I’ve ever seen😂
0:54 oh That's so cute💗
I love watching horse fails before I go riding for some reason
Same im going horse riding today!
The horse at 0:46 was like: Since I’m nice. I’ll let you fall with ✨STYLE✨

1:23 The horse that shook its head and the bridle came of..... Me: Wow that horse must have a strong shake.
the bridle came off*
It's quite easy with ear bonnets, my mare did it too so we stopped using bonnets with her
Also it was bit less
1:08 still cleared the jump?! Amazing! 😂😂❤❤ very well handled
1:18 that happend to me before its so scary

Can we all agree that 2:37 was the riders fault? They halted the horse right before the jump (you can see in the slomo) so the horse got all confused
It usually is
I think the rider was nervous but still is her fault
Never the horses fault, definitely some miscommunication there
She didn’t halt the horse, it got a bad stride and was being really good and still went over. It wasn’t the horses fault or the riders unless we know for a fact she would’ve made it with a faster canter.
And that lady's and gentlemen is why we wear caps
I wish I had as much talent as the girl the very first video
I almost fell yesterday, but i didn't. That is good🤣
The first girl was amazing at landing
At 1:56 i was like i hope she ok
0:55 bro's just chilling on the jump🤠

Yeah I saw, ow:(
1:40 was 100% rider error, in my opinion they were going way too fast for the horse to get proper striding up to the jump, hence the refusal
Yes ❤

Great dismounts most of them landing on there feet

00:30 u can not trot to a spread
It’s not that big so it’s fine. Your horse has a scopey jump on it then you’ll be able to just do it in trot, I’ve done chunky xc fences in trot before when I was out eventing
Actually you can if it is that small and most horses break to canter before the jump if it’s bigger
Ive had to walk spreads before bcs if I went any faster than ealk my pony would bolt (at a show)
1:24 Oh. Mwy Gawd
I love your channel
I’m sorry but I’ve seen that girl at 3:05 jump before and she’s awful. She rips the horses mouth off over every jump they do
Omg 😆 this is so funny even the boy or girl stayed on the jump
At 1:13 bc she’s is so big for the pony that’s why she almost fell many times
She wasn’t her stirrups we’re to short it’s happened to me on a bigger horse
@@Monet_eq no that’s the right length stirrup for the pony bc if she mad then any longer they’d prolly touch the ground
She’s not too big, all she did was jump ahead and mess up the stride

Looks like when my horse I rode tripped-
i like all the videos but the ones i like the most are the ones were after falling off the give there horses a pat :)
3:08 this is sad why did she pul so hard
She screamed too which most likely panicked the horse even more.
She was shot back from the impact then was pulling to slow him to a walk, the horse just got excited and she wasn’t ready.
@@ser_reisinger yeah, but it still hurts for the horse it would hurt a little minder if she ride bitless 🤗
