Torn between 13-inch Air and 11-inch Pro. Have finances to buy one now but I can't make up my mind. I do IT work so don't need the power of M4 but I'm concerned about iPadOS 18 and later being very AI-centric, and needing at least the M4 for most features going forward. I don't want to get the refreshed Air and be locked to an 'aging' M2 and have it not fully support iPadOS 18, 19 etc. Tough choice.
@@NeilYatesM because you do IT work you should get the pro just incase tech shifts quickly in ai’s direction with Apple products.

In the EU there is no charger, just the cable, so you’re kind of right :)

I had a look in person and couldn't believe how thin it is. I just picked up the 10th gen iPad, it was discounted even cheaper than Apples new lower MSRP

I just got my M4 iPad 13 with 1 TB the apple pencil and yes there is a charger inside the box. I didn't go with the Nano texture because I'm going to put a glass screen protector on it like I do with my M1 12.9 iPad Pro with one terabyte . On the apple pencil Pro you can feel the little click when you squeeze it just enough it's pretty neat but I do nothing but photo editing in Lightroom and photoshop on my iPad Pro and I did a comparison test between my two iPad Pros and wow what a difference uploading and exporting these raw camera files that I take with my Sony a7r5. I imported 125 Raw photos on each tablet and there was a 2 minute and 20 second difference between the two. Then I rendered all the photos to JPEG and exported them out and there was a 3 minute and 30 seconds difference between the two tablets. Now some people might not think that's not much time but when you go through as many photos as I do those minutes add up to hours and days over the years Period but the screen Is beautiful on the new M4 Ipad Pro 13
Totally, when you’re a professional saving a bit of time makes a huge difference throughout a whole year? How are you liking that a7r5? I use the A7iv and I love it but would love to upgrade to an fx3
@@JonAdamsTech man the A7rv focuses so much better than my previous a7riv. And they did a really great job with the auto white balance in it. I was using my Sony A9 for most of my actions Sports Photography but the new R5 has been doing a great job and it shows all the details with the 135 mm GM. I would love to get the Sony fx3 but I converted my Sony A74 into my video rig. All these cameras I need a faster iPad so it's nice to upgrade. My wife's going to kill me I just got a DJI Avata 2 last week and now I got the new M4 iPad Pro. You can't have enough tools for your business

I will likely get the new 11 inch iPad Pro. I really love the new iPad Pro's hardware with getting that ultra powerful M4 chip and stunning OLED display. I would hope after Apple putting all of that effort into the iPad's hardware that at wwdc they do a major update to iPadOS.
Yeah I really hope they do something because iPadOS is definitely what’s holding the iPad back right now

13 inch iPad definitely looks big on the hand wow they look so thin I’m in the market for a iPad as i definitely looking at the 6th generation but mines we’ll wait for the new one the new iPads definitely expensive there at MacBook Pro territory far as price performance well till I see review also wwdc and see what apple has in store for the m4 chip on the iPad this will be my first m series apple product as I been window pc all my life never had apple MacBook just iPhone

@@JonAdamsTech I use my iPad for a great deal of media consumption and pair it with a Magic Keyboard for work. Think it’s a balance of power and price. Had the M1 11inch Pro, new Pro too expensive for me.
@@DavidWilson-lo9qn I honestly don't know that people will really feel a difference between the m1 and the m4 on an ipad, still haven't seen the software fully utilize the hardware.
