The difference: when you want to take a taxi you go to a taxi rank, when you want an Uber you call an Uber company to come pick you up and take you to your destination. Otherwise you either take a public bus, train or you rent a car from one of the car rental companies.

I subscribed 2:00 within this video simply off the information of why its so important to get a sim card and which sim card to rock with depending on which country you are in.. that is such crucial information that 95% of people do not know when traveling.. great video

Racism is not everywhere in South Africa … that’s nonsense! Orania is not just for white people, it’s just for Afrikaners. Not all white South Africans are Afrikaans, they are a distinct culture with their language and heritage!
Most South Africans get on just fine together! I hope you decide to come visit us in Cape Town you won’t regret it! Glad to see younenjoying our country! ❤
Orania only allows Afrikaners who are Dutch Reformed Christians to live there. 2002 census has Orania population at 2500, literally 0.05% of white South African population.
welcome to the motherland. you landed on the East side of Joburg . the North side is where its Happening and all tourists come to North side, Rosebank Sandton, water fall and all the areas of the North .the East side is the industral Hub of Joburg . you are the first tourist that i saw landing in those areas.
❤
Oooo good to know. One thing about me though is I not really a tourist. When I venture to a country I am not doing tourist things. I want to live a local life see what's it like
@@nleddie YEP I lived east side for 6 months - UBER into the North for events etc...
@@nleddiethe areas he’s mentioned aren’t really “touristy”
No stay away from rosebank and Santon. Snob places that charge arm and a leg for the most basic stuff
I don't know about this racism thing just because you are in South Africa. I'm white and I live in a rural area where the ratio is about 90% black to 10% white - we live together just fine. The riots we have are against bad service delivery by government and has nothing to do with race. It makes me angry when people talk nonsense 😡
Welcome to South Africa❤. I hope you'll also go see other parts of South Africa like Cape Town and the Kruger National Park
YESSSSSSS, EDDIE! I'm so excited to watch this series. I'm waiting on yours as well, Chey. Thank ya!
Lol what's up Sade...
@@nleddie Nothing much, Eddie. I loved the video. Great job!
Don't listen to that driver, yes there's racism but he was exaggerating it,it's not that bad and you are unlikely to experience it during your trip
Don't lie
The pigs were busy feasting
Yeah thats very true. That driver was exaggerating
Lols with the shake size. I’m from South Africa living in the US when I got here I order a large drink at the restaurant and I was shocked how big it was couldn’t finish it. Ever since that day I get small or medium drink.
It's called eating ...drinking for America...lol they tend to abuse you with food...so you become like late mapintcha
this must be so fulfilling for the soul. keep safe and keep enjoying the journey.
This is dope family! I love to see it. Shalom brother! 😎
Shalom brother. Yeah South Africa has been incredible

All glory to Yah. Hope to see you in the comments more often

@@nleddie I'm a white South African and I had to stop the video to comment. Welcome to our beautiful country and I hope that you had a great/are having a great time! The Uber driver is talking nonsense about there being racism all over South Africa. Orania is in the middle of nowhere and is a small farm where white Afrikaners life in self-determination and in isolation (sort of like a cult) and no reasonable and intelligent white Afrikaner person wants to live there. I wish that I was there to drive you around and to show you incredible places. Stop bringing America's racial problems over to other countries. We are incredibly friendly and warm and welcoming people and if you stop thinking about race, you will have an AMAZING time! Sending love! ❤❤❤
Aweh, welcome to ZA boet, hope you enjoy your visit man.
You need to eat home made pap and not from the restaurant. Especially pap at Limpopo not Gauteng. It goes down pretty well with chakalaka and boerewors (sausage) and beef stake. The type of meal you'll find at a braai (cookout). And have a side plate of veggies. I will also advice you visit deep rural areas and taste their food, pure organic and nice and they also make home made peanut butter and it looks like a cake that you can eat it as is.
Limpopo pap is trash porridge.
Yeah visiting villages is something don't do often as you need to have a trusted person to take you

You need a tour guide my dude. You’ll have a much more fun time. The food is great, the places are cool but the thing that makes South Africa is the people.
South Africa has the nicest food
I give it to Tanzania.
Next time visit the Western Cape coast in SA. I live in SA and got to say that is beautiful for tourism. Love that side
Come to Cape Town if you want to experience the top tourist destination in the country..
Welcome to South Africa! Our people will extend a warm welcome to you and you'll very soon experience our warm-hearted hospitality! Do take care, but use the same caution you'd use anywhere else in the world and you'll be fine.
Your greatest adventure awaits!
Tip, in Mzazni; never order burgers or anything you farmiliarwith
Pap is pronounced "Paarp, not pep..😅"
Pap goes with chicken or beef grills...etc..
Snoek(fish) is on list of local..ask for it next.. delicacies
Kota or Sphatlho is alt for burger..in you case vegetarians indian curries will do...
If you are looking for really nice shakes, try Mugg 'n Bean, or Woolworths restaurant has some tasty ones
Video fire 🔥 happy you are enjoying South Africa bro!
Shout out to you for all the help editing
@nleddie anytime💪🏾
Hey No Limit Eddie, I just realized you stayed in the Orion same building where I live here in Edenvale Johannesburg, South Africa! It’s awesome to see your perspective on our area. Next time you’re in town, let me know-it would be cool to connect!
Am about to go show the boys downstairs the building the part it shows you at their store in the first morning part.
Lol ok bet
You can drink tap water here. You don't to buy them.
Nooooo sir..I drink bottled water only.
As I have my whole life
Nah, he has to build antibodies first.
@@claudiandlovu9208 lmao
@@nleddie sir, please. americans have been brainwashed by powerful marketing forces to drink bottled water. this causes mass amounts of plastic waste. unsustainable practice. our tap water is safe in most places. besides, bottled water is tap water. don't be fooled to think it comes from magical spring.
No..he can't drink tap water here...not even us as South Africans drink tap water..cmn man😂
Burger and Pap as a side is crazy though 😂
Shalawaam Eddie, i not seen the video yet but i will do soon, its nice to see you in Johannesburg, on top of this you got your sim card ready, a true OG lol, hope you have an amazing time
Yo yo.... Lol yeah man let me know what you think of this video trying new editing techniques
@nleddie it's actually amazing. Those are good editing techniques too. You put a lot of hard work into this. I actually love it 😍

Appreciate you
In South Africa 🇿🇦 Taxi is normally a minibus transporting people between fixed points along a predetermined route. What Americans call Taxis we call an Über. The difference: when you want to take a taxi you go to a taxi rank, when you want an Uber you call an Uber company to come pick you up and take you to your destination. Otherwise you either take a public bus, train or you rent a car from one of the car rental companies.
Pap is supposed to be like South African grits, but thicker and seasoned different.
I do not really get a grits vibe from them.
@
Interesting, they look like really thick grits and you said they’re made of corn meal I think. So if not thick grits what’s it more similar to?
I agree with your tips! For sure!
Hope it helps some people out
The Uber driver is a racist himself. If you see racism you will experience racism.
That's not how it works yall literally fed people to pigs recently
Haibo that girl from Steers🤣🤣🤣
She was very entertaining. I like that people are not scared of the camera here
Yes she did...😂😂😂😂❤❤

Welcome to Mzansi brother and hope tht next time you'll get a chance to explore other Joburg's upper class areas such as Sandton City. 😊
Eddy we r overwhelmed wid leeches from all over africa dey hate SAns wid passion but live in SA make it make sense!!!!enjoy SA wid all dat it has 2offer
You Xenophobia is shining through l. It must be the “leeches” not your own person telling you exactly how it is. There definitely is racism in South Africa. You have to deal with it instead you’re hating on foreigners.
😂😂😂Comically said but true to the bone💯💯👌🏾
Welcome to mzansi Eddie 🎉

welcome home brother man 👊how the ladies lookin😎🤠

Hi welcome to South Africa wishing you an amazing holiday, please visit Sandton ,Rosebank Melrose Arch lots of good restaurants and lots of tourists visit, enjoy your holiday ❤
South Africa looks beautiful The buildings in the thumb nail, like many old buildings in South Africa and across Africa people may say are colonial buildings built by foreigners, but they are moorish buildings, from built by the Moors the One world Moorish Tartaria Empire which was destroyed 1825.. history they have hidden for centuries
Wow this is something interesting to hear
I'm so glad you noticed that.... we were the 1st people.. but shhhhh for now..let's not cause an uproar😅
Dude just had a burger and pap with gravy on top 😂😂😂
🤔
@@nleddie pap isn't eaten with gravy alone 😅 you need to mix it up with a couple of other things on your plate to actually enjoy the main (pap). Next time thou😅😅
that's what ii thought too🤣🤣🤣
The pap (pronounced pup) is a staple food similar to rice. We usually eat it with braai (barbeque) and a salad. We also eat it for breakfast. It depends on the thickness/consistency of how you cook it. For breakfast you can add some butter suger and milk. you should try it.
Interesting, the breakfast version sounds good.
Racism is not everywhere in south africa 😮😂
But it is in South Africa. APARTHEID CAPITAL
@@tiMos-w1nall your comments are so negative and racist. Relax. Get to meet some people of other races and cultures. It's your attitude that makes you racist
