Shalawaam Eddie. I got my first UA-cam pay cheque and it could not of happened if I didn't see your channel and get inspired. It's all because of you thank you. It's a shame your not coming to LA no more because I was planning to go there for a visit. Would of loved to meet you there too. Hope you had a good Christmas
Bennies are seasonal and mostly only sold in winter around june, but that don’t mean most clothing stores don’t sell then year round, most name brands sell those year round like nike and such,so a sport apparel shop will do
Those cash in transit people you met there by KFC 0:59 , make sure you always make way and stay clear from them whenever you bump into them...just as precautionary measure....I can just imagine them saying " oskatla ka mo" and u don't understand what they saying and you keep coming while holding a camera 🎥 pointing towards them 😅😅😅
No-one knows about or cares for the MLB (or baseball). You'll likely find it at some shop specialising in sneakers but you won't get anything similar to New Era caps in the regular stores.
Do you plan to visit other cities in South Africa? If I were to visit South Africa, I wouldn't visit Cape Town because it reminds me too much of the big cities in America where the people are unfriendly and have an apathetic attitude. The people of Cape Town come across as socially disconnected from each other. They are too similar to Americans.
Just stay in America or visit other African countries, you're not ready for South Africa,West Africa will be the best choice for since your ancestors are from there
I'm from cape town and I hate when people just hate on cape town. Over here everyone just goes on with what they are doing . Like why would we want to make friends with every single one ? We have things to do and places to be at. Why you always come here to want to make friends .like go do your thing and go explore. Go meet up with other Gaunteng expats if you want friends or something 🤷 😂 in Gaunteng they force conversations and stuff wtf ... anyway everyone's different in this world. ✌️
@@AGirlNamedVan You are missing the point. It's not about making friends or meeting up with people, it's a disposition or personality that is noticeable by people who are observant. I can easily sense this by observing people in person or in videos. The people in Cape Town come across as aloof, guarded, and detached. I'm American and was raised in New York City, and I can recognize this energy because it's common in the city I come from, and also in many of other big cities in America. I have travelled to countries where the people had a natural sense of friendliness and openness and it had nothing to do with them wanting to make friends. They were just courteous and had a warm and kind spirit.
@jameharrison426 because the man is walking around with a camera!!! Wtf no one is expected to want to be on camera. People are busy working and going about their day. Why bother people who are just existing 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷

Yeah story sounds similar. Maybe that’s the place you and your family is supposed to be. Did your mother ever get a chance visit in Tanzania maybe it was the timing. You think Cape-town would be better place for your family.

Better how 🤔 it beautiful and better run than Joburg but that is where is ends. Joburg is richer, has more opportunities, more diverse and pay more than all SA cities.
I grew up in CT and live in JHB. I love both cities, but JHB people are more friendly and I feel we are more united here in JHB. I do miss how the sun goes down later in CT. I love the JHB thunderstorms. Each city has its own special place. Both cities can be clicky and lonely if you dont have family and friends in the city.
Shame When you dont understand the statement If i had a lot of money, i will definitely spend it in ct seeing that there is soo much to do Thats it No one said anything about the richest 😂😂
The pronunciation is Ma-Lay not May-Lay as in Malaysia { Recipe of the cakes comes from the descendants of Malaysia aka Cape Malay community) Sometimes American ignorance seems like an illness.
The apparel stores might not have beanies or limited stock cause South Africa is in its summer season now.
Beautiful man, appreciate you bringing us on this journey Eddie

From this blog cape town is not for me to many of them folks is to me to much like America.

Is not better than JOBURG because is not balanced. JOHANNESBURG is very rich compare to Cape Town.
