I got a 2 year old and another on the way so it’s a decent hobby i can finally afford without too much time put in. Gladly let the trends move away n allow me to buy at retail. Jordan 1s are the best designed shoe of all time to me so if i can get the black toes this year im good. Ill take and off the Nike Air or SB, 3s n 4s too. I was 8 when 4s came out so getting a chance at all these in their nicest revisions is awesome to me
I think Sb has tightened security and leaks this year. I'm sure they have some absolute bangers that will send the market crazy. Nike know that Sb is literally carrying them at present so they are going to capitalise on the market.

Jordan 4s might get some hype since there is a lot of good colorways coming in 2024 and they're changing the shape on all upcoming 4s to be like on the SB 4s

Best take so far i agree with it all most. I'm excited for saucony to get some love again and Jordan's to sit so i dont have to wake up early for a launch to get a shoe that sells out in minutes. I think SB collabs are going to keep selling out only because they are limited, not for hype.

So it was basically the nikes waffle running shoe line vs reebok running line vs adidas running line with the nite jogger ogs at first and then it went into the basketball era in the early 80s. Beautiful time for sneakers

I want bulky shoes to trend, I really don't like the long flat shoe trend like the Samba 😂 While Im not much of a wearer of the runners, I do like them going on trend too.
2023 really was an amazing year for SBs. And I agree, the images of most of the SBs we've seen are MEH. However, we both know there will be bangers we have to cop 😂
There was like 4 pairs of sbs I wanted to damn bad but I just can’t afford three times what the shoe retails for. Well I can afford it but I can’t justify it as I actually wear the shoes. I wanted those white and black ones with the orange tag I loved the lost and founds and the pair that I wanted the most was the jaritos ones. I’ve never even owned a pair of Jordan’s ever. Growing up I always skated in dvs and vans and for Christmas me and my son got matching panda dunks (he’s 2) and I really like them but I feel like the white and black pops like crazy I want a shoe that blends in more and doesn’t bring so much attention.
I hope the spiridon makes it back I love that damn shoe they look so good with some many fits and they have a ton of good color-ways. Also don't forget Uggs where originally designed for Men not women and they been popular for a long time here in America and Australia. Just not really for resale like that but. People realized there is demand for them and if u cut the supply short. People will go other places to buy them. Hence why there is resale for them cause botters or resellers are buying up the stock. An depleting certain colors and models off the shelves and ruining another good brand. That normal people that aren't into hype just wanna buy cause they're just a good boot/ shoe for the winter time.

Me and my 28 year love for the Spiridon are torn; I’m always happy to see the silhouette get some love but I’m not impressed by the collab “leaks” I’ve seen. And I’ll be pissed if it means the hype beasts make the silhouette even harder to get. But I’ve already got my grails. 😉
Yeah I think Sambas wont be at peak anymore because most people will not rebuy new pairs, they will look to try something else like they did pandas. We should see some decent collabs tho.

These days, it's all about the On Running (in South East Asia and I am pretty sure Australia as well). These shoes are so damn expensive and they're becoming a common flex. People are transitioning from Hokas and Solomon to this brand. I am not a hater, but I fail to understand why many of their models are $180+ when their material is mostly recycled I believe (???). I need people to convince me they're better made than some Asics or NB or if they're as comfy as Ultraboost. They can name it vegan or high quality recycled materials all they want, I think they're too overpriced. I have a theory that this On Running trend is more organic compare to Solomons. I enjoy hiking myself, but I think many people buying Solomons for fashion are hypebast capping 😂😂😂😅😅😅.
I just want every single sb blazer mid. Those 77 things are awful. I have 8 pairs I think increase the sb dunk high collection too. Season aren't going anywhere been around longer than me I think and I'm getting on. I want the panda in custom for the nice materials or perhaps a reverse panda.

Please God buy yourself a pair of red wing moc toe boots. Specifically models 1907 or 875. I'm dying to see what you think about them. They will likely last you a lifetime, but the break in period will be difficult. If you want them to be comfortable right out of the box, then switch your focus to thorogood moc toe boots instead.
I think Jordan brand needs to take a break on models 1-14 and focus on models 15-23...starve us out until we are begging for an older retro.....I have so many Jordans that I'm really tired of looking at them.....
I actually disagree that the SBs will fall off this year, a lot of the GR colorways are a little basic but that's a good thing, and will continue making them popular. I also like the colorways of the collab SBs which I think will continue to carry 2024, as Jordan 1 hype dies away.
if you do a bit of research most uggs are not genuine uggs, there is actually a company in australia who came up with the ugg boots and got screwed over by the american company who resells cheaper less quality ones.

Asics and Saucony are going to make some noise this year, New Balance will do New balance things and Jordan will keep pushing stuff no one asked for except the 4-5 shoes a year that they make super limited. We had a down trend for a couple of years now where extravagance has been pushed back to the shadow and norm core sneakers (like NB and Jordan OG’s) in the limelight. For this year we’ll probably see the arrival of a couple of sneakers that we can later say we’re the starting point of a more inspiring and innovative styles. Think the adidas x raf Simons Ozweego collab that started the chunky shoe trend in as early as 2014/15 if I’m not mistaken.

I don't think colorways mean anything. Being a hot shoe is usually more about exclusivity or perceived after market value.
