Hey did you add full key fob remote start to your golf? Would love to do the same if it's possible could you point me in the right direction if that's what your meant.
Is there a modd that takes this further to do the Windows up like a long press of the remote does on locking? My 2020 golf r seems to do this from factory unless I did it so long ago I can't remember lol
Hey when I try to do this and go to central electrics then adaptations I get asked to enter a channel 1-255? It doesn’t take me to what you are seeing Do you know where I am going wrong? Thanks
Ive got a 2016 vw golf tsi and it says i have convenient windows in my radio system and i bought obd11 pro hoping i could get it working but it says not supported.....? But its literally in my infotainment system.... help????? Mk7
Would love to have remote start but sadly can't find proper set of required parts and settings. Not even sure if the feature is possible on MK7. I know that I need different remote (with extra button for remote start) but not sure if rest of my car would support the feature.
AFAIK this option was not available for Golf MK7. But it was offered in Passat B8 which is in many ways similar. Maybe there is a way to do it in MK7 but I don't know it yet.

Well, if you live in very hot or very cold climate, and you don't want to turn off the engine when leaving the car for few seconds, it will allow you to lock it when you're gone. Of course you need to check your local laws as leaving the vehicle running might be illegal.

I have keyless access and enabled this option, its great if u just want to visit a store really quickly and leave the car running in winter.

Does it affect when locking your car with you key in the car even when off.
No. It just enables additional option to use the remote with ignition on.

Depends on what car you have, which options you want to enable, and if you are going to service the car yourself. For me OBDeleven is a must.

It's illegal in Germany to come out of the car as a driver with a cars engine running!
Interesting, I know that BMW has this option activated from the factory...
