    They could also make it that IMG specialists get straight into a residency program. Most specialists wouldn’t mind and it’s a lot better than a pediatrician having to examine an elderly with cirrhosis and congestive heart failure

      If you have your USMLE steps cleared and your ECFMG certification along with mandated work experience to support it, you are eligible to apply for the competent pathway to work directly as a doctor in Australia without AMC exams!

    Hi , Dr Qureshi. I'm a M.B.B.S graduate from India and have been working as a General Duty Medical Officer since 2017 till date. Following watching your informative videos I'm having a wish to give AMC and migrate to Australia. Shall I also be getting some benefits from October 2024 as you have mentioned in the video?

    Hi Dr Qureshi.im currently doing fracgp part 1 under academy of family medicine in Malaysia. I would like to find out if its applicable after completing the exams to apply for substantial specialist pathway or will it be required to have several years of specialist training before applying for jobs in Australia?

      If your college is not accredited by Australia, then your med school degree will not be eligible for verification. You should try contacting their helpline or sending in an email.

    I have completed md(obs/gyne ) in my home country with 2 years experience. Which pathway do I go for? Will AMC be of help?

    • @EmergencyFocus
      @EmergencyFocus  17 днів тому

      If you've completed your highest qualification with mandated experience afterward, it is ideal for you to opt for the specialist pathway under RANZCOG. Your chances of success depend greatly on your CV, interview practice, and the extent and quality of your application!
      Consider booking a 1:1 session so wecan discuss your options in great detail: www.emergencyfocus.net/booking-calendar/1-1-specialist-pathway

    Hey ! I have done my MS OBGY from india and work experience of 2yrs ! What should I do next?? Do I have to give AMC step1 ! Is it easy to fetch jobs!!

    • @EmergencyFocus
      @EmergencyFocus  Місяць тому

      If you've not obtained MD in OB/GYN, you will have to appear for AMC 1. Find jobs afterward depends on numerous factors such as your CV, interview practice and the extent and quality of your internship. Feel free to book a 1:1 session to delve deeper into this: www.emergencyfocus.net/booking-calendar/1-1-career-guidance-session

    The so called 'expedited' pathway only for Substantially Comparable GP from certain countries but Partially Comparable specialist has to pay 50% incremental fee? Where is the fairness in that?
