can you expound on notion? I finally set it up on my desktop, but I'm having trouble sharing and adding things to it via my phone. It just randomly gives page options for me to post, but it doesn't help keep things organized the way they are set up
I use Google Podcasts more than any other app, except maybe Google Keep. I'm with you on Keep. It is powerful and I love the integration with Gmail. I have a Google Pixel phone, too, so I'm ALL about Google apps and tech!
Plus GTasks with longer more text notes going Evernote. (Still pretty useless with tables though, so yes, Notion for tables/databases) GCalendar - 'cause of the integration. Just wish GMeet was as good as Zoom.
Thanks for this list Scott. I use Google Podcasts too as I particularly like how it syncs with my phone and on the web browser. This way I can carry on listening to it and it keeps the timings of how far I've got through the podcast.
One that I use cotinually is called "Out of Milk". It is a list application which I use mostly for shopping for groceries but can be used for any kind of list use. Also QR & Barcode Scanner.
On my phone, I use Google Podcasts, Calendar, Maps, Gmail, and Keep regularly. I usually line up a podcast for our daily walk. I can start it in the car and then take it along for the trail. There is a great variety of podcasts and they work without a hitch. I used the queue function. I've used Google Drive to scan documents. Does Adobe Scan offer additional features, or is it easier to use, or provide a better quality scanned document? Thanks for all of your tips, Scott. Your videos are always great. I look forward to them.
Thanks so much for watching and your continued support, Thomas. Drive is an excellent scanning tool. I do find that the quality and auto-capture of Adobe Scan is just a little better.
Thanks for this video. Most Productivity videos I come across are for Apple. I typically stay in the Google apps as they all sync sonwell together. I do use Out of Milk for my shopping. I love how it keeps the prices of items, as well as calculate the taxes to help me stay on budget. I use Forest for focused productivity, which blocks websites. I do use Buffer as well. And Google Podcast for my Podcast though I think it needs a lot of work.
What are you using for recording your phone screen on this video? I'm using Nextcloud for my cloud storage and I host it on my own server. Great for syncing files between my laptop and desktop.
Scott, have you ever heard of FooView? It's a game changer and I've never seen a tutorial that covers it in english. You could be the one to introduce it to the masses : o)
I would love to add new life enhancing apps but because of nightmarish Android storage size abuse, I'm in a constant state of painfully SHEDDING apps. Despite moving everything that I possibly can to an added SD card, just the few things that I can't live without are using over 15 of the 16G (that I cannot increase further). The infuriating part is that without my permission or desire things continue to build up, especially that bastard Play Store. I am constantly opening it up to "delete all" but 2 seconds later it's downloading more. Same with built-in apps Sheets, Slides, Docs. And I can't just annihilate any of those, because you're not allowed to. It seems like required Android apps alone are using 15G of my 16G phone, and downloading more constantly. It's so vicious that not only do I deny myself apps that I really want, but I even refuse updates, because they're always larger. I haven't updated (and kept) an app in 3 years because of this. I'm even still on Marshmallow for the same reason. It's absurd.
I don't want "Google Movies" and have never even used it or desired to. Yet it keeps building up storage usage. Just like 20 other apps. This is disgusting. It's keeping me from being productive.

Very helpful as always---rather than using something like app blocker, I simply choose to keep social media off my phone. Thanks!
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!

Love Google Keep, but wish it has simple formatting like bold and italic.
Yes, that would certainly be helpful.

That's a great point, Darius. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks do much for the video. Have you thought about making a video about Google Assistant?
That sounds like a great idea, Diego. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks so much for sharing this app, John.
I love Out of Milk. I've been using it for a few years and I rarely hear people mention it.

Notion on web is great, but is horribly slow on mobile.
These productivity apps are just what I needed! 💫 Keep rising to be who you want to be! 💫 #keeprising #risingtobe #aswerise #riser #irise
Thanks so much!

WOW such incredible apps, thank you so much for this video!c
Glad you liked it!
Hi Scott, have you thought about using Google assistant or voice to text in general when it comes to taking notes?
Great suggestion. Thanks for sharing.
What are you using for recording your phone screen on this video?
I'm using Nextcloud for my cloud storage and I host it on my own server. Great for syncing files between my laptop and desktop.
I'm using the built-in Screen Record option on Android 11.
I love and NEEDED the AppBlock app. Thank you so much! What do you recommend as an app(?) to keep me from visiting those sites on my computer?
KEEP Notes is amazing but req few updates, like Scan, Crop, OCR Read, to PDF,....etc
Yes, some advanced image features would be nice. Although, it does already have OCR reading capability.
Great presentation!
Thank you kindly!
For scaning Dropbox app is better with high quality scans.
For long notes with markdown support Simplenote is better.
Thanks so much for sharing!
I use Digital wellbeing instead of AppBlock.
Standard notes for highly secure notes.
Thanks for sharing!
More of this please, thanks
Noted.
Good video!
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion!
Excelent!
Thanks!
Thanks
Amazing list
Cool thx !
I use cam scanner to scan document
Thank you much need information here! May the likes be with you.
Nice
Keep is fast on mobile but dramatically slow on web. Am I the only one experiencing this?

100% fix for your ski problem: GET A SNOWBOARD!
Keep notes
Check Mr Receipt from Primesoft - I use it for last 2years and it is super productive one
Thanks for the recommendation, Maciej.
Google Keep still has no support for hierarchical organization?
_No support for markdown also._
