People need to vent. People killed but no martyrs created that I am aware of. I mean seriously the USA had an election in the middle of the US Civil War. No due process was violated by these *VOTERS* from all across the USA wanting to express their outrage that they thought their vote wasn't counted.
The only reason the government will let the J6ers go is so Trump won't have that issue to run on in this election. Biden's government officials couldn't care less about those political prisoners.

I've been wondering this too, but in more general terms about selective prosecution or unequal prosecution or whatever the law is, how is that not applicable these days when one side gets charged for the most minor infractions and the other escapes any and all consequences for obvious and serious crimes like violence, theft, intimidation, threats, etc? How do things go so far like Trump's current trial which is obvious persecution and where high ranking Dem politicians have done much, much, much worse? I'm not a lawyer and don't understand how the checks and balances of our system of rule of law have allowed the current situation to develop and worsen to the scary point we're at now.
Hillary and her crew should be charged with this since it fits her to a tee with her destroying all her electronics.

Im a Jan 6er. From the very begining i told the FBI to FO when they contacted me. Straight up told them i dont answer question. I told them if they arrest me or subpeona me for questioning that i would have an attorney with me and still i wont answer any questions.

I would've asked the Solicitor General if she charged Congressman Bowman when he pulled the fire alarm which interrupted an official House proceeding/vote. Was he charged? Under this statute? No, because Congress enjoys the luxury of selective prosecution.
