I was a federal employee for many years, the abuse of funds is ridiculous. Every year there are unused monies that are then spent frivolously to prove the need for the funds..

It absolutely astounds me that these bureaucrats come to these meetings completely unprepared. How do they keep their jobs if they are so incompetent? No one in the private sector would last one minute being this incompetent.
I agree but I think him and many others who were invited in congress or senate who does the same type of act are very well prepared, if u really think of it because if he wasn't? he would be throwing up all over the place because no normal person can stomach all those things he does and say while looking stupid and dead straight in the eye. Playing pretend is 10 times harder than than doing it normally.

The AG and Dept of Justice has an open ended demand for undisclosed funding and cannot make due with the current funding. Yet, it the mid-1980’s the DoD had a massive budget cut under Graham, Rudman, and Hollings. All temporary employees were terminated and organizations had to make due with the limited funding that had been allocated to date. Many construction projects, to include buildings that were to replace temporary structures during WWII were postponed for years or totally cancelled.
Once again, all the Federal Government organizations must always be diligent about funds needed, and be responsible and accountable for funds used. We The People should have full access to detailed budget requests and expenditures. It is our place and privilege to know where every penny is spent.

I don't understand the point of these inquiries. All these corrupt people get caught up in these lies and nothing happens to them! I'm not impressed that this Kennedy guy can ask the tough questions as long as there are no tough penalties on these people, it doesn't matter.
The protection of these open inquiries is supposed to be that people can see whether those they elected are operating correctly.
As the media in the nation do their best to hide and twist facts the impact is somewhat blunted.
Senators can't enforce the law; they can only refer them to the people that do. Garland is one of them. The Fox guards the henhouse, making it his own pantry.
Exactly right, The only thing these hearings accomplish is to make the few people who see the videos of them angry. They serve no other purpose, except maybe to pad the expense accounts of the people who show up for the questioning.
It’s a side show. They all work in the same place. Like every other entity, all their CEO’s work in the offices and the minions work on the floor. Or the Cartel, they all work within their own boundaries (like offices) and their grunts all run around doing their dirty work. Politicians are no different.
