From what I remember in DMC2’s final boss I actually only used guns lol swords just didn’t work. Well for the first half of Argosax. Not the true final boss
then you dont know how to play, cuz if you pay attention to its pattern, ya can it some good sword hits and the sword is what does the most damage in the game. Unlike dmc1, where its the grenade and Ifrit.
@@ShadowDante7 yea, it can be, actually, apart from being a rushed game, there can be a lot of dev choices that are confusing, like the helicopter, the multiple optional helicopter fights, lots of platforming, a boss where you have to break some crystals with a shitty camera, the wolfs being a pain in the ass for no reason, and you have to fight them along with a boss, an actually cool boss if alone. There is even multiple amulet locations and some without even an indication on how to get them... So yea, a lot of weird decisions here and there that makes this game kinda confusing to understand. Its not a bad game tho, its a mediocre/okish game. Lot of great things in it, but ppl just tend to want to understand the other better games. Which is understandable.
@@TGHunter I agree. DMC2 is an okay/mediocre. It’s really not that bad, but definitely the worst Devil May Cry game. The game just didn’t make sense to me in some parts, throughout most of the game I was just using guns because it seemed to be a lot more powerful and effective than swords. Guns are broken in this game, and although there certainly are some very annoying parts in this game, I’d say it’s definitely the easiest Devil May Cry game (though the Reboot is pretty easy as well)
@@ShadowDante7 Yea indeed you're right, but its not that the guns are broken in 2, its just that Normal is too easy, Hard feels like what Normal should be, in hard some enemies blocks guns, and even attack through them. They just fucked up the difficulty overall. Ppl did say at the time, that dmc 1 was too hard as well. So thats a perspective lmao.
I'm surprised you didn't use Majin DT for any of the fights- it's a huge boost in damage and practically makes you invincible. Overall great video though, commentary was hilarious!
yeah when ibony and ivory finally have the respect they diserves! but the rest of the game..... well at least the guns have they time to shine! also you realise that this game is literally a third person shooter right? lol!
I tried it.. The factory section is annoying... you can basically ignore 99% of the enemied in the flying section ( the last beyblade dude doesnt seem to leave automatically). But the real kicker is that dying at all kicks tou to the start of the game. After factory it gets easier. Much easier, just tedious.. But yeah. I too am waiting for his run..

This game is so terrible, yet back in the day when it was released I got it day one. I beat both Lucia and Dante and beat the remaster a few years ago. Still an utter disappointment
