Also Majin DT Also Majin DT has super moves ∆+[] in air and on the ground If the enemies weren't piss easy and totally braindead the gameplay variety would actually make it fun. I love Dante's moveset in 2
@@cliftonsavage7380 there are two ultimate moves for majin DT (the super DT) one is an AoE super explosion dealing tonnes of damage to everything nearby, and another is a concentrated laser beam (similar to the beam attack Dante uses in DT in the title screen cinematic of the game) which does far more damage but AoE is smaller... compared to the explosion. compared to literally everything else in the game, it's still fcking huge. you need to press triangle and square together (or whatever is your melee and shoot buttons) locked on does the laser and basically aim bot level tracks enemies while unlocked does the explosion. both look really cool. honestly all this doesnt matter cause the literal best thing you can do while majin is to just spam shoot button to fire meteors from your hands. does by far the most damage for DT used. but hey, these ults are good for combo enders when you have very little DT left.

Yea, i did this challenge for my first experience with DMC2, did it just because everyone said that you had to just shoot the entire game. So yea, i slashed the entire game. And now im finishing my second DMD run without buying any damage upgrades. Its actually quite challenging, but it gives me less dmg to do more combos on the enemies. Btw, every enemy and boss seems like it was thought out to be fought in Hard mode, where they actually do more moves and try to attack you more. So.. Normal is kinda the Easy mode.
I dont know why but i did a dmc 5 challenge to my self were i inverted the camera and jumbled the controls and it hurt especially during dantes parts it was even worse during 19 20 cause the controls were changed quickly (it was done on dante must die)

Maybe my brain just couldn't handle much more of the game a repressed the memory. I don't remember that moth or most of the other ones either except for Artus and Argosax Chaos/Despair Embodied

One thing I didn't realize as a kid but your video showed is the amount of names that are in Spanish, and how hilariously corny they are. For instance, Orangguerra means "war orangutan" and Furiataurus "Angry Bull", just... whoever was in charge of the names had fun.
You should do DMC 1 as well, the best in the series in my opinion. Unmatched! Oh btw you can unlock Dante's moveset from DMC 1 in DMC 2, you don't smash enemies away which is really neat.
You don't have to beat the chopper each time it appears, you can just avoid it till the final rooftop bit, not that it'll help you since you probably shouldn't play the game again.
I mean tbf you only need guns for some very specific bosses like argosax and the tower boss, otherwise using swords is much more powerful and efficient unless if you unironically think that staying in a corner just shooting at enemies/bosses is somehow better/more fun/more efficient Like even people who take the game seriously barely use guns
It was just to see if you can man I've done it both ways some bosses were easier with only guns some were almost impossible with only swords like the infested chopper or the moth boss or the boss with the three floating heads it's just for fun
Honestly I think the big problem with DMC 2 is the lack of combat variety, only having swords for melee is so boring and not matter how many guns and amulet charms you have, it still makes it boring, and that goes for Dante and Lucia, I wish each got one more weapon style
Don’t get me wrong, I actually do like the game, I think it is much smoother than DMC 1, but if you want a smoother experience that has more variety, just play DMC 3

That super devil trigger has an attack that exhausts the meter, but does an absolutely absurd amount of damage. Enough to instantly kill most bosses.
