I used to do this as my target job in high school. It’s amazing how messy people are. Hundreds of people just shoving stuff on a random shelf creates a big ol’ mess for employees.
I do this at Walmart Since those SHITTY WORKERS IGNORE THEIR CUSTOMERS. I was there recently wanting to buy the scent beads THAT THEY LOCKED UP I PRESSED THE CALL button Waited 5-10 pressed the cal button at least 5 more times got fed up waiting and Bought what I already had and left to buy the scent beads at my LOCAL WinCo foods grocery store. I hope TARGET don't ignore their customers like WALMART DOES. If they do these stores DESERVE to get replaced by robots.

I work weekends. We do this for our children. I don’t know if anyone told you, but one day your kids will look back and appreciate the sacrifice you made for them.
I gave target 5 1/2 years of my life. I ran tech as its only team member doing 6 days a week. was "always next for promotion". Ended up cross training everywhere including unloading truck, freezer, everything. They use the good workers and never promote. So glad I left.
Most toxic work environment I have ever worked in. I’m currently an LS at Starbucks. I didn’t get a pay raise for it at all. The position I just got gets $3-4 more at a real Starbucks. I’m just going to stay 6 more months get the experience and get the hell out
Did the same thing at Safeway/Albertsons! I cross trained in 6 different departments in under 3 months, I worked more than my own manager who was younger than me and coincidentally the store directors niece…
Ah I also work at Target sometimes as a stay at home mom lol. I love zoning towels it’s so therapeutic for me! When it’s done and all the towels are nice and folded and straight it’s so satisfying
I worked at Target partime while in college. We used to call them “reshop” but those carts were the death of me. Especially when they were little items that took forever to restock! Also I worked softlines (idk if they call it that anymore) and it was so satisfying getting to fix a display and make it look picture perfect
I worked there for almost 3 years. 2019 everything went downhill.... they fired backroom, cut everyone's hours and expected the store to be just as clean and stocked as before 💀💀
I took a gap year before college and worked at Target. The discount was 10% back then with an additional 5% off with the red card. For where I live, it only took off tax so it wasn’t a good discount for me😭 I hope yours is better though!
As a front end Target manager, I just wanna say a big thank you for actually going to get your “abandons”, “re-shop”, “go backs” or whatever your store calls them lol! We love to see it!

My night mare as a retail worker was bed sheets and pillow cases! Marshalls have irregulars that are sold at a lower price. The stuff is useable, but not perfect. The sheets are marked and folded to show the irregularity through the packaging. But, that is not good enough, no, they have to tear open the packaging and look. I got very good at refolding and repackaging the items in a way that no one can tell it was opened. Was there for 4 years. A wink and hello to the Mt Prospect, Il store!
I just hide open packages of sheets and curtains. 😂 It's impossible to repackage them, and on top of that, once half assed and repackaged, NOBODY buys them!

There are a bunch of "Straightening Store Isle" ASMR shorts you could easily make while on the job. No music, no talking, just 30 seconds of organizing some shampoo could get you views!

I used to do that when I was in college. It was called an overnight zoner. I was the only one walking around putting stuff back while the other people stocked the shelves.

I worked at both Pizza hut and Starbucks in 2019. As much as I loved my co workers and the job, I hated the TL's and the store manager!

I hated the towels, and folding the kids clothes. I haven’t worked at target since 2006 due to health issues.
