- National STOL and STOL Drag collaborated for the inaugural event in Wayne, Nebraska at Wayne America Fly-In marking the first-ever joint venture. Despite the looming threat of strong winds that could have jeopardized the STOL Drag competition, the presence of National STOL provided a welcomed opportunity to witness astonishingly short takeoffs and landings in challenging wind conditions.

Steve's skill is amazing to watch being a new guy in STOL aircraft makes me want to mortgage my house for plane like this if I had his talents. National STOL and STOL Drag should do some events closer to Florida.

I have an injected 360 on a aerobatic plane with a small tank. I’m able to hot start it every time, try this. Don’t prime, full lean. Crank and advanced throttle while cranking. When it fires go full rich. Make sure your off the brakes because it could fire at high rpm. This works for me 100%, in the dead of summer, with a hot injected 360. Give it a try.

Regarding hauling yee haw in a trailer.. if the engine was forward, that part of the plane would have a smoother ride.
I have used Launch control in a drag racing car with AEM computer all you need now is nitrous injection AEM can control that too.
I’m so happy to not be using nos !
