      Expand Your Mind bruh, Huston had one of, if not the greatest track runner as a coach, recruited these guys, already experienced runners. This Huston squad they had that year swept all sprints with ease. then they all went pro they next year.

      @@solaimanwahab5286 there’s a difference between running an indoor and outdoor 200. Noah lyles is considered one of the best sprinters right now and i’d say he’s the best rn and his recent indoor 200m is a 20.8 while his outdoor best is 19.50. So there’s a big difference

    It is not a matter of age it is a matter of eligibility. There are numerous athletes from all sports who are older. Some go into military first them come back and play a sport. Another example are the Mormons who commit to their faith and evangelize first then play sports. That is why age does not matter.

    • @Jas_Flash92
      @Jas_Flash92 4 роки тому +6

      Martha Hollowell that’s what ppl don’t understand lol. Age don’t matter in college. Your putting a huge amount of pressure and stress telling a kid he HAS to go to college Right Away HS or it’s the end of the world. And that squad they put together for Huston? They were already experienced runners. They blew by these college kids. It wasn’t even fair. If anybody, duru was the only guy who could keep up. Huston swept all sprints that year with ease.

    • @mauricehumphrey545
      @mauricehumphrey545 6 років тому +3

      It's about lack of knowledge of T&F in general. But, they don't seem to realize that Hall was injured for the World Championships last year. I believe he was injured in college twice. So, he had one, or two years of eligibility left and he decided to use them rather than turn pro. He is not my favorite sprinter anyway, but, he is talented. I had an exchange with Jam Rock once before, so I am pretty use to him and a few others who like making condescending remarks about US sprinters.

    • @kingnaldo4058
      @kingnaldo4058 6 років тому

      Maurice Humphrey Well since you're attempting to paraphrase something I have never said, by implying this a *Jamaican* vs *USA* thing. I simply pointed out the wide margin of age differences of the aforementioned athlete to his lesser experienced competitors, including sheer power and technique, he should not be competing with athletes 5-6 years his junior.... Then again our collegiate system is one of corruption that fosters such blatant schemes to gain an edge for certain schools, by extending eligibility to continue making money.....Where's the *Jamaican* bias?🤔

      So you've been saying it since 2008? You do realize that it's 2018 which means that you've been saying it for 10 years. that's one hundred and twenty months buddy. Wow! you've been holding it in for a while there bud. And what makes it worse is that you've no guarantees whatsoever that Jamaica or any other countries except USA has or will have a better runner, Jamaica had 2 Bolt and Blake. To be honest it doesn't matter. no matter who is a better runner, if he ain't from the USA, you automatically have beef with them regardless. But, if USA gets lucky with a good runner for a short while then boom, all we here is how great USA always is. Hatred. You can deny it but it's on your front door.

    what is he talking about, everyone thinks Frankie Fredericks record set on 'some track in France' (that'll be Lievin, the premier indoor track venue in Europe for most of the 80's, 90's and 00's) is "not right" therefore summising that this might be the legit WR?? There was nothing odd about that performance whatsoever, nor is there anything unusual about the track. It's not as if he didn't produce enough outdoors over the years to validate that performance either, more than can be said for Elijah Hall (who's still young admittedly)

    • @jerrelfeller
      @jerrelfeller 6 років тому

      Tom Lerwill exactly and frank fredericks ran 19.6 outdoors so there is no reason why it cannot be possible to run 19.9 indoors

      I was there when F Fredericks broke the world record at Liévin. The Liévin indoor track is a beautiful track and I can tell you that the 200 m is very difficult for the athletes, for me the 200 m of the NCAA ' is not a real indoor 200m as it is very easy.

      Colby Williams Colby Williams You make no sense lol. Indoor tracks are harder to run on than outdoor tracks. Indoor, the turns are far sharper than outdoor. Outdoor is usually better for everyone. Thats why some people just train through the indoor season. Also he will certainly go 19 seconds. He basically did it here 20.02, a better dip would of gotten him that. Everyone in this heat will run faster outdoor. You can't doubt anyone in track&field
