Done 18k in one from new and don’t experience any of the clutch issues you mention
Mine happened at 25k. Uprated clutch now for 4 years no issues.

2019 also lost the port injection which brought about carbon deposits on valves.
I have a golf r mk7.5 with the akrapovic and it’s 2018 so no emissions thing
That Acrapovic is probably making car faster than my custom turbo back, but it sounds nothing like it. Im using a non resonated Cobra Sport catback coupled with the Invidia highflow downpipe on sport cat on my 2017 GTI Clubsport MK7 and it sounds friging GLORIOUS !!! The Acrapovic systems have absolutely Zero deep tone response! No soul or character at all if you ask me!
The Akrapovic is not about tone response ,its titanium and light weight and with a res delete is about 11kg lighter than stock R.Their reputation in race and performance exhaust is unmatched, check out Moto GP, DTM Motorsport ,Porsche ,BMW and if you're familiar with Chris Harris motor journalist its the only exhaust he fits on all the cars he owns.

So Akrapovic fitted cars with OPF have a sports cat???? Where does it say this?
Where does it say this officially? I believe this is wrong information. All cars after 2019 came with an OPF, regardless of the Optional Akrapovic or not
I have the akrapovic and its not true, the exhuast is just the tips and back box. Akrapovic sell a downpipe separately however it costs like £1.7k. My car also has the OPF/GPF which I've seen when the car was lifted@@adamkhan1077

A scorpion exhaust system is best bang for buck. Of course you could remove the cat but then you get a lot of drone on the motorway.
sportcat is pretty good loud when you want it to be

Its the first time you drove a Golf R and yet it all falls apart on a Track??!! Its not a Track Car and i blast it trough B Roads here in OZ sticking to the ass of a Porsche no Problem,superb handling on A and B Roads
maybe a porsche cayenne. No chance you’re keeping up with a proper driver in a cayman or 911.

Your focus st - remapped to “280hp” is clearly running a bad map if it can only do 30-70mph in 5.2 vs this.
nope. Manual gearbox plus gearing itself is the reason it’s a lot slower. If you were to do a pull in just one gear they’d be almost neck and neck.

after 2019 golf r's had the opf fitted which dropped the power from 306 to 296.

plenty of articles on it. Same power downgrade happened to the audi s3 and leon cupra as well.

@@shahidakhtar4521 was in the uk as well. You can see every golf r after 2019 has 296 bhp. Even says it on autotrader.
