I just did a trip to Moab here in the states by myself in an older F250 and made sure I prepared well in advance. Did over 4,000 miles total. I took all the same fluids as you just in case, and pretty much always have them in the truck. Spares I took, extra ujoints, seals, fuel filters, fuel pump, starter, alternator, lockout hubs, belt, and an extra turbo since I have an aftermarket larger one on the truck. And same as you also take the plug kit with the spare tire. Extra fuel, 20 gallons of water(about 76 liters). Always have my first aid kit, wipes, fire extinguisher and the water filter kit as well. And of course more stuff as well, more than I needed, but it was better knowing I didn't have to use any of it than needing it and not having it.
great video opened My eyes a little there were some things I didnt think of. You didnt mention brake fluid I thought that would have been in your spares fluid box
Hey mate another great video keep it up...loving the jumper and stickers that came in real good warmth n quality 👍 👌 cheers look forward to crakn a beer or two and watching more videos ...
What is your option on running a spot X instead of a sat phone. For me they are just to expensive to buy and run. The spot x I can text like a normal phone, it can track and it has the sos button to act as a plb if shit hits the fan. What dies the sat phone cost you to buy and run?
Yes mate that was my second option if I didn’t get a sat phone. They work great, I just wanted to be able to call out. I can’t remember completely but think the phone was $1200 or so then a plan was $150 a month and you just canceled it once I got home but keep the phone.

Awesome I'll check out Drifta now as I couldn't find anything from 4wd supercentre
