- Turning a summer internship into a full-time job involves more than showing up early and leaving late. In order to land a job after a summer internship, bestselling management author and CNBC contributor Suzy Welch says applicants need to bring three things to the table.
1) Bring something the company doesn't already have - This can be an idea, a skill, or unique insight that will make you indispensable.
2) Focus on making the company better - Make sure to demonstrate ways that you personally make the company more efficient.
3) Prove that you can represent the brand - Employers also want to see that you'll be an excellent representative of the company in the world. No one will hire an employee who hasn't proven they'll be an asset in front of clients and won't embarrass them on Instagram.

How To Turn An Internship Into A Job Offer
Jobs are mostly connections, too many people think hard work alone will get them there. You have to socialize and network well too. There is just too much competition in hard work alone!
Itachi Uchiha I think the west is where it works best!
Great video! I'd also add how important it is to build real relationships over the course of your internship, and continue to nurture them into the future. The people you meet during an internship can have an impact on your career in the short term and long term.
But even internships are extremely hard to get (the good ones)...
Nice hints, wish me luck!
Let them use you as much as possible, work 24/7, always be available for a chance to get a job. Lol
Terrible advise ..... every company is different , every intern ship is different just be yourself, do your best learn as much as you can and enjoy the experience .... interestingly enough, most company’s just want someone who can do the job (well) and get along with the team.
Well, I guess most of these are kind of hard to accomplish in the current times with everyone working from home. Any suggestions on "how to" for these times?
After watching this video, I was able to read more.
Thank you Ma
Im so pumped!
This was really helpful 👏🏽
Outwork everyone making more money than you. There. Your welcome.
What's really infuriating is that if one is a contractor trying to make it into the company, the intern that's been there 2 months ends up getting the job. Explain that.
Or you know better yet go work for yourself and start an agency so you can authentically who you really are without the political nonsense.
This is the best solution, if you have the desire to do it that is.
Easier said than done lmao
