He clearly states his remit was to look after the local Post Offices in our towns, villages and cities, so when you get mass prosecutions for fraud and theft would that not have prompted action to look closer at the level of efficiency, security and trust of it's employees. Then any such scrutiny should have uncovered this mass miscarriage of justice and it's perpetrators. This man is a total incompetent with no more ability than an office junior or NQT primary school teacher.
I agree with your statement about Davey. Your reference to a Primary School NQT though is very disrespectful. To stand in front of children and have the trust to teach they would've had to pass GCSEs, A-Levels, degree and then PGCE, or 4yr intense B-ed. That's 8yrs of hardwork... and I'm not even going to mention the scrutiny involved in just passing teacher training! Once an NQT, these normally young teachers, then go through a rigorous program of induction to fully prepare them for a profession that allows them to be extremely recruitable across the world. Would anyone recruit Sir Ed after this?

However the parallel was supposed to be in regard to the experience in the job, straight in from uni with little experience and struggling to get to terms with the enormity of the task which through her experience and my own as a governor I fully understand. Please do not take this as disrespectful to the profession, indeed it was only to show his lack of understanding of the job in hand. Sorry if I've been misunderstood 🤷🏻♂️
