OKAY OKAY SO I JUST GOTTA YELL. I adored the WIPs you'd shared but DAMN the final just knocked any expectations I had out of the park! I love the colors, the dramatic shading, and the emotions of every single shot so much!! You've really made the most of a short time to just deliver a beautiful experience. It's a super hard pick for the ones I love the most, but it HAS to be crow surrounded by eyes, I'm just stunned by that movement and editing there!
Amazing!! I can never get enough of your style. There’s so many small details I love so much in this video. The crow claws turning into paint was really neat and I also loved at the end with the moment of Crowsong jolting up from the dream. Overall things flowed so nicely and I love the color pallet you chose to express her emotions in this!!
God this is so incredible! The fact she's twitching and how it switches to it all-she's genuinely so haunted by it all. You can feel the building frustration, defiently by the end when she wakes up and looks so unamused! And overall it's just, incredible. the detail, the thought process, everything. It's SO talented! You felt the truama she went through, when she was surrounded. Felt watched by the eyes. You truly get a general feel for how she felt and that's something I hadn't been able to /feel/ for her yet. One of my favorite parts I must say is the reaching out also! How the white paw was almost reaching out for "help", claw less, desperate. Then the claws from the other, almost as if now she's just trying to kill that part of her off now. I could go on and on, genuinely. The asthetic is incredible! And I mean that-truly LOL! Just the emotion, frustration, you can feel how she felt and why she became who she became. Keep up the great work and this is defiently something you deserve to be SO proud of!
the color moods, the twitching, the reactions, the timing, the lip sync, the style, the hard shadows... all of this told a story. a pretty clear story. its all original and pretty damn good. All the frames were hand drawn, the effort you put in shows with every breathe your character takes. Such a shame the judges didnt see all that and decided to take fanart instead. Like i cant believe a poppy playtime got 4th and Loona got 2nd when this easily couldve gotten one of those spots or even first. Youre incredible, and i hope u join other competitions and have honest and unbiased judges in it 💝 this was a gift to watch
Found this the other day and I've been rewatching it on repeat ever since- I have to say, I absolutely love the way you draw Crowsong's eyes with the pink lashes?? It makes the "oddity" of them really stand out and is super aesthetically pleasing. Also I absolutely love the bit with the sort of paw-shake deal and how the claws dig into Crowsong's wrist - I think it really highlights that pursuing this is a dangerous/toxic/bad thing and even if that wasn't necessarily the intention, it's an incredibly nice touch that I think adds a lot to the story you're trying to tell in this animation meme.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that you are probably the best warriors animator out there, the shading, the animation, the talent. Your work continues to take my breath away, and I just wanted to say you have a future with your art, a big future! And with writing, your stories are fantastic. I AM FOAMING AT THE MOUTH HOLYYY CRAP LOU you really just keep coming out here and outdoing yourself? Especially because I can see how in your animations lately it's clear you're really developing such a superb grasp on the structure of a figure and manipulating a 2d image like it's in a 3D space. Like rotating a head from side to 3/4 to front and having it stay consistent and looking like the same character from all angles is so challenging and you're out here just tossing these heads around like they're your plaything?!?!? Which is fantastic because I think your character acting is really taking off now, since there's no burden trying to grasp the structure of the head. I love the two consecutive scenes starting at 0:37 with the arc of the head coming around and the follow thru of the ears and the panting... followed by the next shot with this deep breath in and gathering composure. Not to write an essay here but the ACTINGGG I can literally see Crow thinking here like she's come alive and is having thoughts? BASICALLY in this incoherent essay here I'm raving that your animations are really starting to take on a professional film quality 😩😩 I am eating this video it's too good

Absolutely phenomenal! This has to be one of the best if not the best animation memes I’ve ever seen. Every little detail is just amazing, color palette, the expressions and camera movement, and just the storytelling. Also just really loved the way when she reached out her paw to her dark half the darker crow dug in her claws just a bit what a beautiful detail and the motion in it looks amazing.
The lineart of this animation was so fascinating to watch. The sketchiness of it all, as well as how the colors flow, is so satisfying to watch. The comic panels are such an interesting choice that I don’t see often in animation!!!
Okay, I absolutely LOVE the way this is drawn, like, it has more of a sketchy look, and it is absolutely gorgeous. A detail that I find super cool is when Crowsong’s face pops out from where the skull is drawn, it’s drawn in a way that is different from how the rest of the animation is, and it looks STUNNING. I don’t think i’ll ever get over how smooth and beautiful your work is. The style makes it seem like an anime, but the shading and coloring feels like a comic, and the amount of smoothness and emotion is scarily reminiscent to a disney movie. Absolutely in awe!

I just wanted to leave my opinion of this here because this is so amazing- for starters I love how fluffy the characters look like they look so loveable even if they’re edgy cattos like aaa. I also really love how your artstyle is realistically touched (referring to the skull is what stands out a lot) AND THAT CROW EYE LOOKS LIKE ITS GONNA STARE ME DOWN AND FIND ME HHHJJJJJHSSJJSJ (mixed with the cartoony aspects (THEM EYELASHES ON FLEEEEEEEK) but it still stays true to the anatomy while complimenting your style and I think that’s really awesome! I’ve read a bit on Crowsong’s story and I genuinely adore the concept it’s so cool and honestly you did such a good job conveying it in this meme. I love both sides of Crow and the turnaround on “Darkside” is so smooth but well paced so it doesn’t look fast. The slow movement adds tension and anticipation which in my opinion fits really well with the atmosphere of this. I also feel like I remember seeing some process of this on Twitter on the paw grab part and it feels packed with emotion and so realistic like honestly this is just so fun to watch. In summary I really love this a lot and it looks simply AMAZING. Awesome work on this I’m so excited to see more of your content (despite the fact everything is already SO AWESOME).

This is absolutely phenomenal! I think we know who’s winning lmao Edit bc I wanna be more specific: The cinematography alone is awesome. Forget how incredibly well animated it is, the scenes are planned and executed so well. They’re all dynamic and interesting. It doesn’t have any of the usual repetitiveness of an animation meme (not hating on that, it can be and is done very well in many cases). It’s just all around stunning.

SOO in love with this! I've rewatched it after the tid-bit of Omensky's story and it can't help but make me theorize... Right now my head-canon is that Omensky is the one who gave the final prophecy to Crowsong, the one telling her to destroy her Clan. I don't think Omensky wants to hurt others, but as Louixie says in Omensky's information, had she known what was being done to Crowsong, she'd have never allowed any of it. Just a personal theory!

Edit bc I wanna be more specific: The cinematography alone is awesome. Forget how incredibly well animated it is, the scenes are planned and executed so well. They’re all dynamic and interesting. It doesn’t have any of the usual repetitiveness of an animation meme (not hating on that, it can be and is done very well in many cases). It’s just all around stunning.

SOO in love with this! I've rewatched it after the tid-bit of Omensky's story and it can't help but make me theorize...
Right now my head-canon is that Omensky is the one who gave the final prophecy to Crowsong, the one telling her to destroy her Clan. I don't think Omensky wants to hurt others, but as Louixie says in Omensky's information, had she known what was being done to Crowsong, she'd have never allowed any of it. Just a personal theory!
I like to think right before she massacred her clan, the Crowsong of before had went to StarClan.
