- Fastest Stock Challenger 392 6.4L v8 Scatpack 1/4 mile run belongs to a 1320 Scatpack. The 1320 is a drag package from Dodge for 392 6.4L Scatpacks. Many of the Dodge Demon parts carry over to the 1320 Scatpack "Angry Bee" which allows for it to be very efficient with the 485hp the 392 produces. 707 Hellcats are mid 11's - Redeyes mid 10's. This 392 is right in the middle.

Robbie sorry for your loss also. It’s been 2 years since I lost Peyton and the pain hasn’t eased up at all, it’s a daily struggle. Working with the parent non profit (St Baldricks) that supports me fund brings me some peace knowing we can make a difference for other kids and families.
Thanks to you both. I hate hearing about you loosing peyton. Every year at Christmas we get an Angel tree and pick a boy that would be connor’s age and spoil him. Scatpacks are awesome. I bought a 2021 and was nervous I would want a hellcat, but it always has power avaliable! 6.4 hemi is such an awesome platform. You can drift every corner and spin tires in 3rd gear, and when your done you can pick up the kids from school. Plenty of room.

I would gladly have filmed your 1320 but I've gotten yelled at a few times for not leaving after a run. I was pushing my luck filming the white 1320. It was really cool hanging & BS'in with you though - you have an awesome ride.
@@RTLife Hoping to bring my 2011 Ram 1500 regular cab short bed to the track tomorrow. Just got it back from Tune Time Performance. I told you it had been in the shop for the whole season. It’s got a Magneson TVS2300, new cam, and a TCI 4L80E transmission with 4:10 gears. Best I ran was an 13.4 at Englishtown back in 2013 after the supercharger. Hoping to do a little better tomorrow.

Few people know of the 1320. I have a Super Stock..but for 23, I wanted a 1320.
Also, that reaction time is downright computational!
The 1320 is one of the best packages from Dodge.
@@RTLife It is the second rarest package after the Super Stock, so yeah thats also a cool thing but 1320 has some goodies in it that more than make up for the more spartan interior
And people need to realize there are people that are going to run very good times and then there are others that dont... The Driver is just as important as the power,The 392 with a person who can drive it to its potential is a Beast.Same goes for Hellcats or any other car.
You're 100% on point. These mopars are insane & with the right drivers they can do big things. I think this just showcases how solid the 392 can be. Def fun watching all these Hemi's ripping up that 1/4

Ppl need to realize the Scatpack has massive power band for a big V8. It even pulls harder than the hellcats 1st through 3rd gear, because of the crazy amount of torque
Powerband aint the word! Unreal gobs of horsepower and torque. Just got a 2017 challenger scat pack most impressive car ive ever owned.

Nice runs! I’m new to the drag racing scene and I have a lot to learn. With those 11.3 and 4 runs on the 1320, did the driver have full drag spec and launch control activated?
P1MPINSINCE1997 hey man we talked but so it’s here I was foot braking so no launch control with drag mode on for the 11.30 run, the 11.35 run my wife makes is with drag mode on and she just throttles at the light, no preloading of the converter.
A scatpack's biggest enemy is its own weight. If you shed a few hundred lbs, put wider tires, (a hellcat air box, w/filter) and a tune, that car can run mid 11s

The GT500 is no joke though. The car did 10.6 stock setup tires not even engine broken in. I am sure with drag setup we will see people pulling low 10’s.

My 18 Scatpack Charger ran 12.03 @ 113mph at full weight with a pair of Bravado Tributes and M/T ET Street R's
My race weight was 4500-4600lbs I weigh 295lbs.
This cars race weight is 4200lbsSo a 300-400weight advantage = 3-4 tenths improvement.
The 1320 has drag mode and suspension just like the Demon, add the Demon front runners, decent DA and great track prep and 11.3 at 119 becomes very realistic with a stock 392.

That's awesome.Just simple weight changes by taking out optional seats , wheels and you are smoking em all. What cool is you ran hard through finish line. So many give up before finssh line. Your driver. Are you locking out at 4 k on start ?
The 392 w/ some weight reduction def throws up some nice numbers. Dodge knows what they're doing with these Hemi's.
I foot brake it at 2k and allow the trans to shift on its own.
I think he changed the torque converter or tweaked the rear diff a bit. Stripping the interior was a good option.
Michael Scott absolutely untouched, torque converter in these cars is the Demon spec unit as is the rear diff/axles, along with the Demons drag suspension. Single seat is the standard configuration from the factory, I opted for the 1320+ package to upgrade and add leather passenger seating.

I think just a 93 dyno tune will get this thing in the 10's. e85 is a nice bump in power

Dillion my cousins white 1320 is seen right after my wife run, pulling a 10.80. He has headers, tune, and weight reduction, best E/T of the weekend for him (his GF driving) was a 10.77

Dillion Johnson at some point I’ll do forged internals and supercharge it, for now it’s going to be headers, tune, and spray.
Scavenger 1320 does it all the time, and others. The 392 Trim is excellent because you don't really need to Mod it and you can beat "faster on paper" cars. 392 club! Taking Grandma to the Doctor's, or raging beast on the street, to competing at the dragstrip.
So much fun! I really need to hit up the track. Good stuff

yah it's def one of the better N/A motors - the right driver they can put up some solid numbers.
R/T Life best I could do stock at least from 0 to 100 kms was 4.3 seconds, mind you I had to fight the 2nd gear lock out and sloppy shifter in my car...and some not so nice Goodyear eagle RS-A2s

He is right, the only enemy of the 1320 is the weight of the car. You can order it with base cloth seats, get lighter flow formed rear wheels and use the Demon front setup to lower the time.

I ordered a 1320 base model. It did come with power seats. What I thought was funny, is that it came with manual lever adjusting steering wheel. That might save a lb or 2 of weight reduction. Lol. I did order for $2, the front and rear seats.

Hellcats are usually in the mid 11's - I believe with radials they go low 11's.
R/T Life best i seen a 1320 run in socal is mid 12s stock with a tire. Hellcats in the other hand low to mid 11s
Austin Wise ive seen stock pcm run low 13 maybe crack 12s. 105-108 mph.

On a side note, I have been meaning to ask. Are you getting any sort of differential brace, especially with your upcoming engine build? These cars are damn heavy, and I suspect that Santame will be leaving one under my tree. I've already destroyed the original rear end in my Barracuda and replaced it with a Strange Dana 60 and 4.10's. I don't really want to plunk down $3k-$4k for a Dana 60 for my Charger (at this time). My *serious* upgrade money goes to the Barracuda. I see a differential brace as cheap insurance.
I really should do the diff brace to be safe but I don't really beat on the RT. Will likely end up going on anyway though.

Can you provide specs that would explain how your 485hp scat pack bears a 700hp+ car? The horsepower to weight ratio would of a 2017 707hp 4448 lb Challenger Hellcat is 0.1589 . That of a 2018 485hp 4279 lb Challenger SRT is .1133. To get the SRT to same HP/weight ratio is to use Hellcat’s ratio with your horsepower 485hp/.1589 = 3052 lbs. That would have to be the weight of your car to match the Hellcat. Did you lose 1226 lbs from your car? Are you using race fuel (kerosene) or nitrous? Because I have a 2018 SRT (no supercharger) and I’d love to have that speed without putting on a supercharger 💁🏻♂️
The 1320 uses the Demons suspension, torque converter and trans tuning along with being a bit lighter

According too the time slip he lost. He ran 11.308@119.43mph. The Hellcat ran 10.472@130.14mph.

Thats great my brother just ran a 37 at Cecil county Maryland . I had to work otherwise i would have been there and ran a 27 my car is a tenth faster . He had negative 1084 feet . Im trying to get down in the next two sat and hope i can run that. Im sure i can .

If you think about it, these 1320 scatpacks are a less horsepower version of the demon, they have the demon suspension as well and trans brake as well I believe

@@RTLife yeah, the SRT knows what they're doing, those don't really weigh all that much less either, however I wish I could have that damn d.a. where I live, i would definitely be in the 12s with my car, the closest i came was a 13.005, granted I have the 6spd, but still it would be nice to get the full potential out of it

Slicks of Hope stock....with different wheels/tires.....and gutted......ok lol. Congrats on running a good time, like I said I played the mopar micro records game too. Went an 11.25 with a”stock sealed” longblock 392 like two years ago which was another micro record. The 392’s don’t respond to mods like the Camaro and Mustangs do, that’s why you see all these micro records.
Slicks of Hope the 5.0’s and the SS cars are deep in 10’s NA and it’s no big deal. But for some reason low 11’s is the golden standard for the 392 cars and it’s celebrated. In reality mopar owners should be disappointed in the lack of support for the platform, especially from daddy FCA.
LSX_Jimmy car is definitely not gutted, it’s as optioned from the factory. Haven’t seen stock camaros or mustangs running in the 10’s. Same weekend my cousin went 10.77 on a sealed 392
LSX_Jimmy factory stock with a swap to a drag radials all three run about the same. If you want to run them off the showroom floor the 1320 will beat both the SS and the 5.0
And people tell me I’m lying when I say my best was 11.8 in my Greene tuned manual scat on 275’s 😮💨

R/T Life Good evening gentlemen. I’m sure my father and his 5.7 durango will be making a return to Atco when he starts doing work to it. I’d check the durango fourms for updates on that going forward.
I personally prefer my german imports, but theres not many engines out there that sound better than american V8’s.

I'm up for a full video on my Durango , As far as I know I'm the fastest in the country with just a CAI system. Before I put the K&N CAI system on I just had a Drop in K&N filter in the stock air box and pulled a 14.1 @ 96mph which at that time was also the fastest I could find anywhere. No one else I know of pulled that fast of a pass with a Stock Durango.
My Durango just runs so well and I think others could benefit for what I do to prep for a run. I go over the entire truck before I come down. I think the 5.7L engine is a excellent weekend warrior platform even in the very heavy Durango.

Why not have a seat injection moulded in plastic, like a race seat but in the shape of a stock seat and put the stock upholstery on it? Save 70 lbs per seat. Only if you get caught......

Stock motor but the weight transfer is pretty extreme. What suspension mods are on the car.
