Just got mine.....excellent video.....thank you!......that search and rescue where it finds objects with a known temperature is fantastic......I can find hogs, and I can find turtles.

Have you found any workaround for this drone for Mapping and getting the M3ET to fly a sideways routr. Solar farm inspection requires camera angle adjusted and to fly parrallel to to the rows of panels. This drone does not seem to allow for that unless using waypoint planning and that iscway too cumbersome for large acreage fields.

If used for S&R do you have to set up a special account with DJI so they don't geofence your drone in times of emergencies? Last thing you want to is to fly but it won't even take off
Not that I am aware of... you have to request on a case by case basis...

At around 7:00 in, you mentioned/demonstrated it remembers the temp range as you switch modes from precision to wide. However, when you set it in precision you were between 60-90° then it changed pretty drastically when going to wide mode. So either I’m confused, or it’s not storing the setting from mode to mode. I’m probably confused and hope you can clarify for me.
New sub finally a great video on the m3t great job! Question I just picked this drone up and I can take stills but not with thermal do you have that issue too?
Also I got the speaker have you messed with that?
I do not have the speaker. I take stills all the time, in fact even when you take stills under visual or IR Mode , and then look at the dcim folder from the drone flash card, you should see three files for each still shot, one visual, one thermal, and one split.
@@W0GEN I just go to the photos and it shows the non thermal pics and there a no thermal pictures I don’t have a sd card
@@thepunisher8078 How are you viewing the pictures? all files are saved to the SD card, you spent 6k on a drone and didn't spend $20 or less on a SD card....SMH

Yes I added the Neck strap, don't really have many other attachments. I did do a series of videos of the search lamp. If you review my videos you will find this. I will be doing a review on an external monitor soon.

68 - 86 on precision mode puts me in white hot.... Is that correct? Or what am I missing
I consider that you are in a more hybrid mode... a mix of white hot and a color pallet.
does the mavic 3t camera detect IR helmet blasters?
I don't know... never heard of a helmet blaster lol
Just getting mine set up and learning it. When flying at night I’m getting a constant beeping, are you getting that as well? Only way I’ve been able to silence it was to disable the obstacle avoidance, does that seem right to you sir?
Yes this is what uou do during night flight. Just make sure you re-enable it during the day!
Hey man I really appreciate all the videos they are extremely helpful. I have a question for you, When I use infrared at night I'm having a lot of color on the ground. Thats no matter what Mode that I have it in. The other night I tried searching for my dogs when they were in their kennel and had way too much red on the ground to be able to distinguish where they were. Any advice or do you have a video on that?
Few things... keep horizon out of view. You can adjust your color palates to knock out unwanted Temps. Make sure you are set at precision range.
Had a huge long comment, but clowns @ UA-cam have made this a serious PITA.
It says in the newest v1.2 manual that you can enable Super Resolution mode for clearer IR images. Could you demo this?

LOL, I see what you are saying , I am going to have to try and figure out exactly how to enable this!! I figured that by changing the temp range to "precision", that this accomplishes this as the image is much better when enabled.
I just started up the drone, and yes there is a super resolution mode setting, as well as profiles that I have no clue how they perform! I just did a whole series of snap shots and video clips with this mode on and off. Will bring them on to the PC and see if any differences exist in file size and quality. Thanks for the heads up! Classic DJI, introduce a feature without clear instruction on how to use it!!

I figured it out, if you choose Super Resolution on the IR camera, you will get 1280X1024 jpeg images (which is on by default), and if you un check it, you will get 640X512 size images.
