You have such an interesting way of speaking lmao. You describe basic things in such strange detail. You’ll be like “I must remove the reflective [pause].... reflective outer casing. Preventing the heat.... from protruding... permeating... festooning out from the food item” instead of saying “foil”
TheDailyWoo at my local grocery store they sell strawberry, blueberry and cinnamon flavored Horchata I am so addicted I find myself at least getting two or more a week sometimes
I was actually looking to see if someone has said this. I've worked at a Mexican restaurant back in highschool. I love Horchata. Mexican food and Chinese food are tied at first place for my favorite foods.
Dammit.. I've been taking my OC quarantine drives to get out of the house for the past 3 months always hoping to see Adam peddling around on his bike so that I could yell out the window "WOOOOOOO!!!" but still no luck. It - will - happen.
You're the Best Social Historian I've seen in many years and probably won 't see a better one than you ... you do a perfect job of saving our history through film . Thanks for these Food Vlogs , with the economy going to pieces and the Virus ...it's very likely a number of these little eateries won't survive much longer ...so thanks for showing us these before they fade away ....
I’m so envious. As a kid in the 70s, LA was a golden place. I watched all the Jack Webb produced cop, fire and detective shows. I spent every summer morning with Price is Right contestants from all over the greater Los Angeles area. I only got to visit LA once and had no time to do anything. I should drop everything and go now, but until I do, I’ll live vicariously and follow along on your trips to these awesome eating spots.
This is the king of all taco stands in the US. Nothing else compares and i've been to literally almost every taco stand/mexican restaurant in california
Rice, whole milk, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon are the ingredients in 'horchata' My favorite beverage to pair with Mexican food (besides a good Mexican cerveza, that is)!
Anyone else notice Adam's awesome hair today?Must be using that Grade A shampoo 👍🙌 Couldn't help but notice 🤦♂️ Time to finish the amazing video as always ✊👏👍
The small soft tacos at most places are called Street Tacos, very different then crunchy tacos. You don’t miss the lettuce and cheese, love the onions and celontros on them! Keep these coming, your doing a great job!
This is how they do tacos actually in Mexico...the Taco Bell style are an American invention, Tex-Mex best case scenario. (Hard shell tacos do exist in Mexico and are called Tacos Dorados...Golden Tacos...but are not nearly as popular.)
Wooooooooooo!!!🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮 love the stories behind the eating establishment along with the history of the buildings as well!! 39 days and counting! I shall enjoy more adventures 🕶👍
I've been a long time fan from Mexico and I think this is the first time I've seen you eating something that is like what we eat here, tacos always go well with Horchata or Jamaica I´m glad you enjoy it.
There is truly nothing better than authentic Mexican food. It’s so delicious!!! Sorry for all of the comments but I really love your videos and enjoy commenting!! 😊 ❤️ 😃
I grew up on Cypress Ave like two blocks away from this King taco. This is great, I live close to San Francisco now. This was a unexpected surprise. I used to go to this king taco location threw the 80's and 90's. They used sell a ton of menudo on the weekends. I remember walking over to king taco and buying burritos with my parents. This was a great video brought back a lot of good memories ☺👍
Adam I see you are almost at half a million subscribers. Congratulations man. When I subscribed to your channel you had like 30k subs. Lol. Boy how time flies. I joined because of the awesome job you do at filming locations. Forrest Gump has to be your best film location video ever. You did a superb job on that one. Keep up the good work and God Bless you brother. ✌️
I have not missed your food reviews! Everyday I'm looking forward the next one, a lot of them very close to home and new ones I have never seen, but they all look great! I hope you continue doing this, you really do a great job, and you are very fun to watch. Keep it up Adam!

my dad grew up in that area called Cypress Park, he went to school with the original King Taco owners children. He told me about the taco truck and how he saved up his money to open the King Taco which was once a beauty salon
“Escabeche” is the Spanish word for “pickle”. This simple but zesty combination of crunchy pickled vegetables is a favorite for serving with Mexican cuisine.
It is akin to "Gardiniera" or "Jardiniera" and its hot cause of the jalapeño peppers that radiates through out the pickling brine thus making EVERYTHING hot and spicy
Oh yeah! That meal did no justice.....imagine if he would have had a sope and some quesadillas...this dude would have been in love....the burritos are fire too!
Love these food reviews keep up the good work adam your such an awsome speaker you telling the history of each place you go to pretty historic thanks for sharing and having me along for the ride
King Taco is know for their spicy red sauce. I dont think I've found a place to replicate that red sauce taste. You need to have it Adam, along with the carne asada on the nachos. Do a part 2 LOL
Always watch these before lunch! :-) Bad idea, but great to watch! Keep doing them - love everything from the food ideas to the local history you present. Not being from the area (Canada here) it's given me lots of ideas of where to eat next time I'm in Southern Cal!
Love your hair like that. Thanks for showing the menus in your videos. I'll have the Chimichanga please, that looks good with plenty of guacamole and pica de gallo if they have it
I remember my Grandpaul came all the way from Independence, Virginia to see the new Three Rivers Stadium, & watch the Pittsburgh Pirates play. Those were the best hot dog. I was 13. Now they have PNC park. I have a peice of the stadium in my flower bed. I still love my Pirates. I used to go with my Brother's when there was a seat available with the Boy Scouts. The last year I went to a game at the Three Rivers Stadium was when I won 5 tickets @ my 20th class reunion. My nephew took his mit, & caught a ball autographed by one of the Colorado Rockies. Surge was just coming out, there was a dumpster dive into these Surge bottles, & you won whatever was on the paper inside the bottle. We won hats, shirts, & more tickets to come back. Good memories! That hot dog was the best!
Great and fun video to watch. Loved your reaction after that first sip on the drink. I really love those kind of places. Got some here in WA State,...but not like LA and SD.
King Taco. I like how they fix their soft tacos. Never knew you could put cauliflower and carrots on nachos. Interesting concept. After you ate the soft tacos I was thinking you ought to put the rest on the nachos right at the same time you thought of it yourself. These food series gives me a reason to smile and learn about things I never knew existed before. God bless you for doing this for as long as you’ve been keeping it going. 😊👍👍
It's horchata a popular Mexican beverage made out of rice, milk and cinnamon, King taco used to be way cheaper and you'd get more meat. Awesome you did this review!
Hey Adam. LOVE all your stuff. Here’s an idea for this food series.... for an episode, go back to all the locations and video at night, specifically to show all the cool signage and lighting of the super classic places! Would love it!!! Keep up your awesome work 😀
You are getting extremely brave munching on those jalapenos lol.....good on ya. Tacos looked amazing. Loving the series and your vlogs in general. Stay safe and much love.

Hi from Zuni NM USA Bless 🙏 you 😇 Always Where ever you go 🙏❤️ An Thanks for the delicious food you showed 😋 Take care 😘 and Bless you Always 🙏😇❤️💕😊👍 keep safe.
TheDailyWoo I don’t know if that stuff comes from a mix and if some places make it fresh or not. But I’d be willing to bet some places make it different. 🤤
SO GLAD you didn't waste any taco goodness and sprinkled it on the nachos. Carne Asada is easy to make at home---just marinate skirt steak and on the grill it goes. Same with nachos: I use a fine grater with a block of cheddar cheese over lightly toasted chips with whatever additional toppings I'm craving. Cool the heat with sour cream or plain Greek yogurt.
