Anyway, what I wanted to say: I guess you have also burnt the steel, don't you think? I mean, you probably destroyed the heat treatment by not cooling the blade at all while grinding.
You are right. I should not buy it in the first place. I did not know, that I will not like this choke style and only after some time and use I found out that I do not like the unused edge.
