A continuation of the most common at-home microneedling or dermarolling mistakes that might slow down (or worsen) your progress or results!
At-home microneedling or dermarolling is one of the best, if not, the best way to build collagen and elastin on your skin. This will help get rid of acne scars, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and can help reduce large pores!
Microneedling is a more affordable option compared to professional microneedling. It is non-invasive, and is generally easy to do! However, many people struggle with it, and often not see results because of a few, common mistakes that hinder progression.

26 yo male here. I suffered with cystic acne an was left with a combination of Large Pores and Ice Pick scars. I bought the Banish kit with the 2.0 Banisher and Vitamin C serum... it was a complete waste of money! My pores actually got BIGGER... I’m extremely depressed about this as I was honestly hoping to finally be able to help my skin. I wish there was a way to get the company to help, but they refuse to do anything. Extremely disappointed!

Maybe just give it more time to heal. Do before and after photos after waiting to see if any improvement was made.
Also read that dermatologists are on the fence about using vitamin c with rolling because it can cause more agitation and prolong the healing process. One person said you should at least wait 3 days for it to heal before applying vitamin c. So maybe skipping the serum may help you too.
It made my pores kinda big too, but for a little while. My skin looked better afterwards. It just needs time to heal.
That’s not possible. The banisher can not make your pores bigger or smaller because it’s not scientifically possible. The size of your pores comes from genetics. Keeping them clean by using a chemical exfoliant and an ice facial can make them APPEAR a lot smaller. moisturizers with SPF can keep your pores from reclogging throughout the day.
Can you do under eyes or any where near the eye
I I am not mistake .50 is not long enough to induce collagen production. You would need a 1.00 sized needle to cause the micro incisions that penetrate the dermis. That is the length that causes the trauma which promotes cellular turnover and collagen production. In my opinion and from experience, I used the smaller needles from better product penetration and mainetence in between use of the 1.00

Can we use lactic acid after using the banish skin stamp?

Doesnt the banisher say to apply moisturizer immediately after needling?
And does it matter if you microneedle immediatelt after hot shower?
It’s not moisturizer, it’s vitamin c serum that should be applied right after. As long as your face is clean before you micro needle, you’ll be fine.

Can I use microneedling with tetrinoin?
Strangely it worked for me...stamping after 3days i used tretinoin for my acne scars that worked like magic (hyaluronic acid +cetaphil moisturizer + tretinoin)

Really depends on your skin. Some people only need to microneedle for a couple of months, but if you have really deep scars that need attention consistent use over the years would be helpful :)

Depends on the person. I usually start to see results after One use as long as I’m consistent with my vitamin C serum.
Can i do microneedling while using tretinion ?
I would give it a couple of days break before using tret after microneedling.
just wash your face with a good cleanser before doing it and you should be fine. Some people have blacks heard where they have scars. If you clean your face and your banisher, you’ll be fine.
You're talking really fast and not putting some of the products you mention on the screen.
I have no idea where you bring all this non based information. I cured my acne scars with a 90% results by using a 2.0mm dermapen every month for 6 months and it was very bloody all over the place. It doesn't really matter what to apply after the treatment because the body will start to build a new layer of skin ,no matter what. For example, I apply a simple aloe vera gel for the relaxation.
