There is a spirit of love and respect for all peoples which emanates from Jason. Outwardly he teaches us piano...by example he teaches us about life. Excellent. Awesome.
Jason you took such a simple melody and just the dynamics and variations and improvisation i learnt so much thank you for such extensive videos love it ☺️
Excellent with minor scale on all rhythm you are fond of advising. Your method haa improved me quite a lot since I came to know just before COVID came in.
Superb Jason. I've spent the whole weekend studying this tutorial and it's really helping with one of my biggest failings; syncopation. After two days of very very slow practicing I was able to play all of the left-hand rhythms including; we will rock you; tresillo and clave, plus I even played the melody with some other typical drum patterns in the left-hand. I've done really well with this lesson this weekend and the biggest secret to getting that syncopation is to take it as slowly as you need and then increase the speed gradually; then it's just a matter of regular practice until it beds into the muscle memory. Thanks again!
Well put Mcforty, taking things at our pace is probably one of the most important factors in learning. Super happy that you spent the weekend learning this lesson.....keep going 👍
Superb quality of playing, I used to play 10 to 12 yrs back. Now I have forgot due business in official work. Now ur effort encourage me to start again.
I left my keyboard in a different city..but I already picture myself playing it with all the videos I've watched of Zac. I've also taken notes. Your channel is inspiring
This gentleman sounds truly honest. He doesn't speak with his mouth, but with his heart. I really like this kind of people. Dear Mr Jason, I would like to know what is that piano you are using in this video.
Fantastic lesson Jason! So much to learn from this. I'm stuck in a hotel away from home for a week and now I can't wait to get back home and start learning this. Thanks! :)
Absolutely spectacular! You are out of my league. I would be fortunate if I picked up a bit from your expertise. Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year Jason. Btw, you look great. God Bless!
Nice video sir. Could you please also make a video on the role of 'Figured bass & Voice leading' in accomanying with the Piano. Awaits your lesson. Thank you.

I get so tripped up when adding different rhythms in the left hand. The right hand stutters everytime the left wants to add to what is going on. It is deflating my confidence a bit. I know this is what I need to level up but it just does not seem to click. I will keep trying and regardless of any of that I know I am growing as a player through many of your lessons.
Take you time and pratice consistently Michael, im sure you will get better with every passing day. The fact that you are putting in the effort and not quitting is probably the single most important thing. Cheers!
@Jason Zac - Nathaniel School of Music Thank you Jason. I am practicing and playing almost every single day. I am a little less than 6 months into really putting in the effort so I should probably go a little bit easier on myself.
It is one of the 'electives' as part of my Music Method course. Please contact our course coordinator Ganapathy at +919880196275 and he will give you more details. Cheers!
Why do you keyboard players ALWAYS prefer the flat keys???? It is in direct contrast with us guitar players. Yes, we can use a capo, but that is never ideal for us. BTW you are very good! How much practice does it take to get to this level?
I just love Jason, he’s so good at teaching. Best I’ve seen.
Thank you Charles! Glad you found the lesson useful!
Iam addicted to your tutorials jason brother.captivating performance.

Hi Jason, may I ask on the stride part, pedal lift starts on the beginning of every octaves?
Hi Afi! Yes! I lift the pedal just before I start the next chord. Can you watch this lesson: ua-cam.com/video/dTK26bDdAGc/v-deo.html
