Jason, I can identify with this teaching same name for notes in Jamaica. Minin, crotchet, semibreve. Etc. Different names in America whole note. Quarter note, half note etc. Wish you were here.

When you are toggling, your notes seem to show for LH that 5 finger holds for a bar and 1 finger the 4 &s, ie a full bar. But does that mean that the melody slow down? Is it the Major 6th note that you would choose to write as the Top Note (TENOR) on the BASS CLEF Staff?

Most welcome Adrian 😊 Yeah the Soprano could be the Melody note played mostly as the note note of the Triad. Changes in some cases when you want a Descant part to go above the Melody line

From what I am seeing, you are playing the Alto a Major 3rd below the Melody (Soprano). Is that Standard for ALL melodies?
