- Опубліковано 22 тра 2020
- Join me on a sunrise tour of Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Cambodia. The world-famous complex comprises dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples dating back to the 12th century (Khmer Empire).

I was there in 1993. There were about 20 people there and my tour guide was an 8 year old who decided to tag along. No ticket office at that time. This video makes me realize how fortunate I was.
Just putting this out there. I’ll soon be 58 yrs old, yet I’m still adoptable! Your children are receiving an exceptional education. Kudos.
It was another beautiful video with soothing background music which made an impact. It was heartening to see you and your family for the first time. I am sure you all have had a good time.
Stay safe and well.
Best wishes from Mumbai
Thank you so much!
I had this tour in November 2019 and it was absolutely beautiful. The changing color of the sky is magical.
Visited 3 times over the years. Still something new to see each time
Installing the railings for the stupid tourist turned the place to a waste land. in 2008, this place was so empty. I would pay to see a white man. You can even have sex in some temple and no one would notice. I had to ask a 7 year old kid to take my photo, because no one was present.
Best travel channel ✨💯
Agreed
Appreciate that
Lovely to hear your voice in the video. 1 Million is approaching so I guess we'll get more of that! :) Brilliant as usual
Yes! Thank you!
so glad you got to visit Angkor I have now been living in Siem Reap for 2 years and it is a great place! 🇰🇭🇰🇭❤
Love Angkor temples and the Khmer people that built them. Thanks for sharing...
One of the best destinations I have been so far!
I visited in 2005 and along with Borobudur temple in Indonesia it was the biggest highlights of my trip to south east Asia.
in 2008, I was so alone here. I regret not asking the only white man I saw if he cared to have sex for the sake of doing something to kill our boredom.
So incredible will definitely go there after the lockdown thanks for the tour even better at sunrise
Have fun!
A testimony of what a beautiful world we have. Thank you for letting us experience this too! Greatly appreciated.
Amazing the things that were built by hand! Loved the trees growing through the structure. Mother Earth gathering her children. Good to see the kids, again...growing fast!! ☺️
Yes, thank you
Wow!
Merci beaucoup!
I see this on the history channel from time to time and I got to admit one of my favorite places to look at
Wow. I have seen so many of your video but not many pics of you or your family, Is that you at 1:36?
A once in a lifetime event. No not getting the children out of bed, but the dawn of the day over a stunning silhouette. So crowded though, it was magnificent!
so amazing
And to begin, you capture the Billion Dollar Sun Rise !! Beautiful and Magnificent. Waited all week for this tour. It is truly amazing, isn't it. Thanks.
the largest religious building ever built, probably the most beautiful along the Taj Mahal
I once had a girlfriend who was a bit crazy. To say she had mental problems is an understatement. She had more complexes than Angkor Wat!
to be honest Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi is much more beautiful than Taj Mahal with billions of people
it is the most beautiful, unless you come for the sunrise and watch it with thousands of idiots who only came to Cambodia to have sex. This is Crazy, how the crowd is so huge. I came here in 2008, I was completely Alone!
one of the good things about this channel i also love is that there are names of places i never heard of in my life and to see how these places are is so amazing...
😉
Your videos are the highlight of my social isolation. I look forward to them more than ever. Thank you very much, and also to your friends for sharing.
Thank you for your kind comment. Glad you like them!
I had been to Cambodia in January, just before the Coronavirus pandemic swept the world. My last trip, since then, I am stuck at home. This video brings back so many memories. Cambodia, Khmer people and every temple is very beautiful and a unique experience. Thank you for this video!
I was here in December 2019, also stayed in PP. Loved Cambodia.
Excellent, sir! Please keep going... Your channel is my favorite series.
Beautiful 😍
It was my dream to visit the place and I was able to a few years back. I also was able to see it during sunrise... Absolutely incredible experience! Thank you for sharing! It brought back many fond memories 😊
Oh, this time family trip ? Happy to see you all. Best of luck 👍
thank for share Angkor Wat 😲😲😲🌷🌷🌷🌷
Wow, impressive, a man who can get his two children out of bed BEFORE DAWN on a holiday!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ikr 🙂
Those kids know how good they have it
@Adam Efimoff Lol
Hi nice sunrise bet it was an interesting day out . looking forward to next week on the island 😊
I was there for sunrise yesterday. Only one person at the water photographing sunrise. Two weeks ago I was in Ta Prohm - the only person other than the staff and restoration crew. Magical.
Lucky you 😊
Amazing Cambodia 🇰🇭 🤩 ❤
Een geschenk! From flying the "purple and gray TMA" to seeing the thought-provoking ruins of Angkor Wat, these experiences will be with them their entire lives...even if it means an occasional 0400 wake-up! Thank you for taking us along, Doctor LTE. Mooie video!
When I was there I was amazed by how many of them are similiar built and sights with temples I found in the Indonesians archipelago. One of them, the tallest one I think? Is very similar to one of the Buddhist/Hindu temples in my hometown.
similar yes... but not as grand. Well Borobudur was huge too. But too many Muslim school children ruined Borobudur. They were all so noisy and it did not feel like a Temple. So many girls with head scarves do not even know why there were there. it was a field trip by their school. They dont even care about the Sacred Beauty of the temple. Mendut Temple was better, no local people visiting.
@@eduardochavacano I think whenever you visit a religious site of other religion everyone should maintain respect for that particular community.
Stunningly beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks you so much 🙏🏻 for coming cambodia 🇰🇭 hope you be safe love you 😘
❤beautiful temple
Nice change of pace. Something extraordinary for which it seems worthwhile breaking from the usual venues .
I love the part of waking up your kids for the tour . Very well done
the temple was never abandon.
it was highly still used by the people as well as looked after by the locals.
Absolutely a magical place. Thank you for sharing!
4 AM...that's the best sleep hour 😴

I’m home in U.S. eating chips and exploring Cambodia 🇰🇭
Love the sunrises so beautiful. Thank you that amazing
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, cheers 😍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dazzling! Thank you for the video!
Definitely worth to visit once in a lifetime, but the weather is unbelievable hot and humid almost all seasons. I visited Angkor wat last November but still super hot.
The ‘cooler’ months are December and January
Absolutely fabulous video, totally absorbing. You have a lovely family.
Stunning!! Thanks for the amazing footage and all the information :)
Absolutely beautiful
Thanks for the trip to Cambodia
Beautiful Angkor Wat , thank you Travel expert.
Welcome to Cambodia 🇰🇭🙏🙏🙏
Sinserly, when i visit thailand, i like to go to cambodia to visit that, Thanks for the idea
Anghor Wat is fascinating! The last temple you visited with the intertwining trees was my favorite. It seemed especially mystical to me. I didn't know there was such a large oomplex of temples. I know next to nothing about Cambodia, apart from the civil war. I would like to read more about it. I enjoy the bits of history you add to your videos. Beaurifully filmed, as always, Dr. LTE.
P.S. Was that you telling Viktor and Olivia to rise and shine, or their dad---lol.
😉
Again...thank you for sharing these videos :) They take me somewhere else and let me dream!
You’re most welcome
Thanks for male me dream all the times🙏
You're welcome 😊
Highly recommend Borobodur temple in Indonesia. Was there in 1992. Probably more crowded but worth it.
Un agréable souvenir pour moi aussi, Cet endroit est magique au lever du soleil 😍
Just breathtaking to see on here! Let alone for real! what a magnificent trip for you! Well done! I bet you want to go back now to see it all again! I would! Sigh
Glad you enjoyed it!

Wonderful. 🙌❤️
MAJESTUEUX / MERVEILLEUX / ANGKOR WAT , TRÉSOR D'ANTAN / JOYAUX de la couronne symbole d'IMMENSE FIERTÉ du peuple KHMER !
Wonderful videos....just hoping you still have good amount of videos in the pipeline with the current restrictions on travel due to the covid 19
Thanks for posting. You have a beautiful family.
I do see it on the travel channel as well
U came here around covid-19 time? Amazing!
Great Video. Thank you for posting.
we get to see your family :-)
Great video as always. Can you make a video or at least share a list of the equipment you usually use? Like what camera, gimbal, editing software, music sources etc. It is amazing the quality of your videos. I have been following you for 3 years now, and every new video is better than the one before. Cheers!
Canon G7X Mark II (no gimbal) and Imovies
So Amazing! Wow
Amo seus videos !!!
Angkor wat and its sister temples are certainly a must see once in a lifetime. I personally enjoyed Bagan in Myanmar more as there are much less people and more temples in numbers plus hot air balloons :)
That's a bucket list item of mine :-)
💚 Excellent Tour . The most complex puzzle in the world of architecture . In my opinion, it cannot be made only by human hands . A building that we are not able to build today, so it cannot be built by us in the past . Sculptures that laugh, as well as stones details are amazing (09:30 - 10:40 - 13:02) 🖤
Thx for your kind comment. Hope all is well with you and your loved ones in this pandemic.
@@luxurytravelexpert🌍 Thanks, Also for you 🙏 . The situation here (Iran) is normal, and from tomorrow, when Ramadan is over, everything will be back to normal . Only the rules have become stricter and more monitoring is being done . Which country do you live in ? Is the situation good or quarantined ? 🤔✈️
Magnificent
I Love Khmer 🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭❤️❤️
Just discovered your channel .. Love your videos ..!
Thank you 😊
A few questions, please: (1) If one would rather forgo the 4 am wake-up call and instead arrive at the temple complex at 10-11 am, would the temples then be too crowded and the weather too hot, etc to make the visit less enjoyable (despite missing the sunrise); (2) how long did your entire visit last? You returned to your hotel at about what time; (3) what time of the year is best suited for such a visit to avoid extreme heat and rain? Thank you!
When was this filmed..? I’ve not seen this many tourists here for ages since covid 19
Thanks amazing video ..
That place is beautiful, it's so sad that it is not taken care of 😔
Thank you.🙂
Those tree roots covered the building, indicating that it had been submerged by water, right?
That third temple looks like something out of Indiana Jones:)
Cheers,
Rik Spector
Very nice sharing
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful video. This comes late comment/question, but beside the tuk tuk driver, was there an English knowledgeable guide accompanying you on the tour with Zannier? I only ask because we will be staying with the hotel and thinking to book one tour with the hotel (but the price is much more expensive than other 5 star boutique hotel we are staying on 1st leg of the trip).
Yes 🙂
@@luxurytravelexpert thank you!
