A beautiful city ... I went in October 2018 and loved it. The tourist season was winding down, the weather was perfect and I was still able to swim. Early morning's except for a few other photographers I had the old city to myself . Loved Dubrovnik!
It is a beautiful town, but like Venice, it is overrun by tourists in the summer. When I was there in 2015 you could still see signs of the war with Serbia in 91 when Dubrovnik was attacked, although fortunately the majority of the buildings escaped serious damage.
Hello from Montreal. This was absolutely STUNNING ! I felt like i was right there with you along the wall walk. Truly magnificent. Nice to see Azamara, Ponant and Seabourne in the bay.
Hi doc. I felt that this city looks fabulous by night. The part where two cruise liners are gliding on the sea and the sunset on the Adriatic Sea is incredible. The fireworks are so alluring. It is an interesting place. I see a plethora of walkways flanked by ancient structures. This seems to be a classic feature of the city.
Que hermoso lugar. Toda la conservación que tiene. Y como algunos pueblos cuenta con murallas alrededor. Es un lugar caluroso por lo que se ve que agradable. Saludos 🙋🏻♀️
Thank you for sharing this video. It couldn't have come at a better time, as I have been seriously considering traveling to Croatia to see the land of my maternal ancestors. I especially want to visit the islands in the Adriatic, especially Unije.
Hi there! I Love your videos so much and have probably watched the Emirates 777 business class video 50 times! Although I am still in grade school, I feel inspired by your videos to travel the world in luxury. Keep working hard to produce these great videos! 😃😃😃😃😃
Adriatic coast is amazing from both sides.. Italy coast with Venice,Trieste,Rimini and another beautiful cities from one,and Dubrovnik,Dalmacia,Istra and Budva and Montenegro from other side.
I'm divorced and getting near retirement. I'm a NYC guy but I want to retire and pass away somewhere other than the USA. I have narrowed it down to a few, Dubrovnik is in my top 3.
Fantastic video, have been there several times and love the place, would have been nice to have included Lokrum Island as its a must when visiting Dubrovnik
I remember visiting there a few years before the war caused a lot of damage. Purchased crystal there. It was so cheap, but they didn't ship to the U.S.
Now,due to Covid-19 even Stradun, the heart of Dubrovnik is empty, ghost cities all over the world 😢🤔 Even my city, Split looks so apocalyptic 😔😕 Wonder how everything is going to function aftermath. Nothing will ever be the same, new laws&social distance will make us strangers 😒😒 It makes me so sad 😔😢 Lovely video Mr. LTE, hope you'll come again to Croatia 👌😊🇭🇷
I missed your normal fabulous majestic music at the beginning! What do you edit on? Personally I'd have lowered the atmos (if you are able to) and just swept us along with something orchestral, like you usually do. Great content as ever though.
Shlomo Ziva to Dubrovnik Is worth as an Israeli to be the first to come to Padgorica As a basketball player [because they got me there] comes to Pedgorice
Honestly wanted to go to Dubrovnik this year... unfortunately with the worldwide situation and American suspending its Philadelphia to Dubrovnik route, next time, hopefully.
Have you visited the lovely town of Assisi in Italy?? Now, that's gorgeous!! Here, the wall would've been fun to walk.... As an aside.....that meal could not have possibly filled you up!
Depend what you look for.You can find anything here, from cheap hostels to 5* hotels.Ofc most popular or touristic places are bit expensive, but even there you can find affordable accomodations, and places to enjoy good food and have fun

Only about 1,000. 20 years ago more than 5,000. There are at least 3 public fountains. The walls surround the city as that’s what they we built for. Dubrovnik wasn’t the capital so much as it was a city state.

Definitely, this city is in my bucket list, but not in summer, early spring or late fall and the views at night, beautiful, thanks.
I went in may it was great seasonally but also still very busy
Now, this is my kind of get away! Beauty, history and splendor all in one package. Bravo!
