- Whether they were clever concepts too far ahead of their time or good stories led by relative nobodies, these '90s movies didn't hit as big as they should have. It turns out even some of the greatest movies of all time come out of the gate as duds.

Do you have any other recommendations?
the best 13:00 OFFICE SPACE!
Bedazzled
That thumbnail, though...
Batman and Robin and Hocus Bocus are classics
Batman and Robin is NOT one of those. Yeah, Arnold's got some typical goofy quips, but it's just a boring movie otherwise. Just my opinion, of course.
@@zacharyberridge7239 yeah I get that but it's one of those movies that you watch when you wanna switch of your brain for a while.
*Kocus Bocus

_The Shadow_ is a fun superhero-ish movie. It doesn't take itself seriously and is a little campy (not to the extreme of the 1960s Batman TV series) has good special effects... and the Shadow's iconic laugh and tagline are great to hear.
FINALLY somebody but me recognizes how good the Chinatown sequel, The Two Jakes, is!
"Chaplin" suffered a lot from the abuse allegations that came out back then. That and of course Chaplin was an all around weird man. Props to "The long Kiss Goodnight". It's a great Christmas season guilty pleasure...
TIL that Hocus Pocus was a box office bomb. Watched it when it originally released and yes, it was a fun movie.
I've seen all of these. I agree with most of them. Some movies were always just going to do better through rentals than box office, though. I grew up in the country, pretty far from the nearest Movie Theaters back then. However, we were big fans of the local rental stores. In fact, it was our nightly thing to watch a rented movie. Weekends. We would rent 4 or 5 movies. Well, that was after TGIF lost its real relevance on the culture. Now days... I swear I can barely make it through ANY movie. It just isn't the same. Maybe it's nostalgia!
Chaplin is one of my favourite "Sunday movies" 🍿
My mom loves "The Big Lebowski"
I love fight club i thought and still do think its brilliant
I love the big Lebowski Jeff Bridges as a stoner hilarious
How do you do this list and not bring up the super mario bros movie that came out in 95, it bomb in theaters but had a cult following when it was released on home video and still holds a special place for me since i grew up watching it alot on cable
Can you do a video of scrapped adult animated charicters from a to z
What about The Rescuers Down Under?
great list, though couple films here ain't good.
no Animated movie *_"Cats Don't Dance"_* (1997) in This List?!??
Movie critics aren't people, buddy. -A close friend of mine who couldn't be more right tbh, lol.
I love hocus pocus, and it's sequel. I hear they have a third one coming out. Hocus pocus, did much better, than most people realize.
18:16 - The first movie about MK Ultra
Geena Davis > Every woman everywhere
Does the movie Clerks count?
Nope I think it made like 4 million on its cheap budget
@@nebulous8389 oh cool. Guess that's how/why it managed to get a sequel while the others on the list either don't have one or it took years to get one.
Hocus Pocus, The Big Libowskey, and Fight Club is my favorites on the list.
@@ShadyRK9 Have you seen True Romance? It's actually one of the Stand-Out movies on this list. Quentin Tarantino as a Screenwriter and Tony Scott directing? It is excellent. If you like those 3 and didn't mention True Romance. It leads me to believe you may not have seen it. Because It fits well with your picks. Although, my tops would be Hocus Pocus, Army of Darkness, Fight Club and True Romance.
The Shadow did not do,as badly as John Carter.
Showgirls was not worth watching!
Alec Baldwin in a movie is hard to accept
Showgirls wasn’t a bad movie. It’s just hard to watch because of the sexual nature.
The long kiss goodnight would’ve been a superhit if geena Davis and her husband didn’t make cutthroat island. Audiences didn’t want to see them again🥹
