    This is the best how to training video I've seen for the 40 yard dash. I've been using some of these tips with my son's tackle football team. Thanks!

      That's about as stupid a question as: Who remembers Michael Jordan being best NBA player? Who remembers 9/11? Who remembers the moon landing?

      Make sure you guys can get your knees out in front faster (faster turnover) you SHOULD feel like your falling but have to get your legs back in front faster! Hope that helps guys!

    Do you put your power foot or your other foot In front

    • @Cosoapfkgi
      @Cosoapfkgi 5 років тому +1

      GZ Kaidono I am pretty sure it’s your power foot, you have your opposite hand back and when the timer starts then you pull it forward along with your opposite foot for a better start

    • @Cosoapfkgi
      @Cosoapfkgi 5 років тому

      You can experiment and see which foot you start with is faster

    Is a 40 yard dash good for general fitness? My sprints don't last very long, can I use 40 yard dash to build up endurance?

    • @Shukulo
      @Shukulo 7 років тому +1

      Ok but why wouldn't 40 yard dash work for building endurance. Sprints are a measure of speed and they are still a workout. Would you call a 1rm max lift for example not a workout?

      Speed and endurance are two very different things and this drill isn't for endurance its for raw speed if you want endurance run miles or 400s

    • @RM-uy3ec

      Generally your dominant hand determines it and itll generally be the opposite leg

      @@123Hoops if you’re finishing w/ your right hand your left leg acts as a shield against the defender while also using the rim as the same function. Opposite applies if you go from the left side and use your left hand
