It is in deed 6 speed Automatic. But I did a little more digging on if I can use this M57 in my Patrol and the answer is No. Because it is just too powerful and in Latvia if I put it in then I would need to change brake system and then I need to get it certified and overall, not worth it. I need ~2002 M57 3 liter engine to be all good. So this car is just for laughs.
@@thecrazylatvian each country has its own regulations - read difficulties. Changing the engine in the Patrol Y61 to the M57 is easy if we leave the Patrol gearbox, and even easier if we leave the manual BMW gearbox, because then there are no problems with the clutch, there is a reinforced set from BMW.
