Henry (Vy-las) Zoo, arboretum, badgers sports, state street, Chazen museum, olbrich gardens. Lots of bike paths & parks on lakes. Multiple concert venues. You can go to Verona & see the Epic Systems campus. Minor league mallards baseball games. Dive bars on Atwood & the legendary vic pierce liquor store. Love Madison
It can be (for a little while). Then u go to visit a city like Chicago, then u want to relocate. I grew-up in Mdsn - now live in Chicago. Just went to recent H.S. Reunion. Haven’t seen these people in 20 yrs. Found out that about 1/2 the class relocated to Chicago right after graduation. I’ve only bumped in to one former classmate. I still have fmly in Mdsn., so I still travel there. And I greatly miss it from time to time - hence what brought me to this video. But it’s not much to do, & is quiet in comparison to other metropolitan cities. But doesn’t have the same trouble that these bigger cities have either.
@@ecaldwell9 happy Tuesday,, thank you for your kind reply and information 🙏 You're absolutely right about big city vibes, I'm originally from California but now living in south west Texas I feel the emptyness metropolitan offers however the cost of living is considerably less..
