Why that does look cool when the inner layer work better if it didn't move from a power generation point since when it moves it's in the shadow. It probably doesn't get as much sun
In the strategy game total annihilation, once you folded it up it was better protected, so i think it got more hit points. The inner core is immovable in the game, but i made it movable because: why not, i had to put it on hinges, so clearly there was no reason to not have it move xD
@@Kennet0508you are correct a closed solar collector could take two shots from a plasma battery aka Guardian or Punisher. If the solar collector was open a single shot was enough to take it out
"Hey that looks like a solar collector from Total Annihilation... gasp!" Man that was a good game. Cool build!
Indeed it does, that's where i took my inspiration from
You should check out the community project Beyond All Reason. It's a true to heart remake of TA
I'd never thought i'd see a total annihilation structure in Space engineeer
I don't know why but the 'The Daemon Ritus' from the scooby doo movie comes to mind when i see this. The shape and way it opens is very similar.

Ahh how i miss playing TA
An iron lotus flower!
Thank you
oh this is a reference to the game "beyond all reason" (BAR) there are also the same solar panels
Well yeah in a sense, this is based on the game total annihilation, and BAR is based on that game
Nice, but not efficient
