Excellent! Skid steer repairs are my favourite vids! Enjoyed watching the exploratory surgery on the bobcat. Like other commentators, I'm really looking forward to the next parts. Thanks for filming.
I really wish I could find a mini diesel skid to rebuild. Every single one I've come across has been way overpriced, to the point of being high-risk gambling. my smallest a lahman little dipper is still too wide for gates. nice work. thanks for the video
They used those 3cyl Kubota's in alot of old lighting plants mate, before the new battery ones came out. If for some reason you need another one, it might be a place to look.
After you've cleaned it up, could you check the bottom, just in case? In case some of the rod actually did hit it and maaaby dented/cracked/chipped/abraded somewhere. idk, I'm just asking.
Your video was very informative…………………..I have a pallet jack that needs human manpower to move around,,,,,completely forgot about the battery operated one………………… I gotta get me one of them thank you…………………ran rollback in a junkyard didn’t realize over across the pond that they put knuckle booms on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that’s a neat trick it’s a real neat trick thanks for being very informative and showing somebody on the other side of the pond some great ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!keep up the great work happy holiday Samuel bacon
that rod snapped off because of over fueling. the injector likely overloaded the cylinder. you'll need a complete rebuild. get the three pistons, rings, and bearings. also, get the head, pump, and injectors rebuilt. don't go cheap or you'll be rebuilding it again soon.

It's definitely always risky buying broken equipment, especially when they don't run
Thanks 👍
💯 roll over i did a toro track loader roll over and they started it and snap rod
Could have, no real signs of roll-over on the machine though

From what I've found out, it's a bobcat specific kubota motor
Good assessment until next time Have a Merry Christmas Happy New year!.
Same to you! Thanks 👍
Your driveway won't be dusty!
Nice to see a diesel most small ones I've seen are petrol machines from AMERICA.
The torque makes the difference

Definitely, it will need a good inspection before it gets put back together.
Great video you do very well explaining everything and I know that you will make this machine better than original because of your other videos
Thank you

That pallet jack was the best $50 I've every spent lol.... yes another marketplace find
Thanks 👍
That amount of crank endfloat was worrying. That big end shell was worn on the edges because of that.
Great engine though.
I was to, glad I worked out the issue
Epic mate can’t wait to see this come alive!
Do u stil have your old bobcat u took to the property
Once I finished all the work around the farm, I sold it.
@ nice! that was a good series too
I really enjoyed the video ! can't wait for the second part, thank you for posting it.
Thank you!
If it’s not got any power from the engine, Then how come the hydraulic bobtach is been moved to lift the front wheels off the ground,

Agree was most likely a fuel issue. Shame it hurt the motor
nice, what you do for a crust
Help me understand why I saw a pressure washer wand with me own eyes yet he’s working on a filthy motor?
How much did you pay for it may I ask
@@daviddrury3581 I paid 5k
looking forward to the next video, thanks
