I DONT MISS ANY OF YOUR VIDEOS For three reasons 1...Randy 2... you share the monetary numbers, its mind blowing! 3.. the drones! And at 71, ive learned what i DONT WANT TO DO WHEN I GROW UP!!
man. randy is such a beast. cutting the branches on one side of the fence, then running faster than the avant along the whole road to the other side to handle the chipper! 😂
one thing i noticed about isaac is that the puts so much more energy in gripping the chainsaw and twigs than randy / jake. maybe it's him being more careful due to less experience, but i think he could try to relax a little. im a 17y veteran in my job and i still notice myself clenching up or having unhealthy tension in my body! stay safe and healthy out there! esp. in such "nice" weather! =)
I recently took your perspective on it… And I’ve been pricing things way better than I used to and upon doing that have gained more customers and gotten more jobs at the right price then going about it the way I used to… I just recently landed my biggest job ever at 7200 for 120 foot tulip tree, waiting to hear back from the customer, definitely looking forward to making a video out of this one
People who don’t have a business have no clue what it costs to run a business especially when you need tools and equipment. When I told a customer that my dozer cost 250k and my backhoe was about 80k and that the fuel was about $200 a day and insurance was 2k a month then they began to understand why it costs what it does per day. And you’re lucky if you make a profit at the end of the year.
Day one completed. No one hurt. Good job, looking forward to the completion video. Thanks for taking us along, we appreciate you and all the work it requires to do these videos. 👍
Watching this video, I feel like one of those saws is much sharper than the others, just based on the chips it threw off in comparison to the others, and It is always interesting to watch you cut down maples, so many small/medium branches to cut down in those!
Hello Jacob I hope you are keeping well, please stop questioning your prices for the jobs you price up, people will try and get you to drop your price but at the end of the day you are the expert Arborist . I do love watching your videos, you, Issac and Randy make a great team, I know your business will go from strength to strength, you are a good man Jacob. ❤❤😊
Would they not let you take a fence panel down? Maybe you addressed this and I missed it. If I'm working a job where I'm going to disassemble a fence section I bring a little kit I built that contains general hardware/screws/nails/sawzaw/drill/hammer/prybar...etc. It works really well.
Jacob I asked you can you sharpen by hand a square chain on your chainsaw all your prices are fair for all your work and everything you got into it it's all good
as non american, i could take this in chill no rush 50h 4h per day with only chainsaw and rope to fire wood not chips. it would make me 100/h plus fire wood. thats x5 more then i make in 9/5 job
For the customers that are fussing about the price of your good work, you might ask them …how many people are risking their lives for you today…?? You’re such a good man and such a good arborist. You’re in my prayers.❤️🥰
Why do people complain about a little hire prices, great service cost. You're cheaper than it falling on their home. Then the insurance goes up,home repair and the tree still jas to be cut down.
The "cheap" people don't realize, you've probably got $250k worth of equipment, multiple employees and saws, fuel and insurance costs... 😢 They just think "some kid, with A chainsaw". 😂
Home owners always think they know something when it comes to processing time . Even here in Pa, mainly younger gen and some older gens that will negotiate the price not realizing the price has been ran through proper chain of command for different outputs lol.. home owner having zero knowledge or skin in the game, truly backs why I’m a machine and not the spokes person lol. I can do it with the upmost respect but boy after two rebuttals I’m out. But to see the ol timer neighbor come show his respect and love truly is the other half of home owners . The ones that even with the knowledge of spending a pretty penny, they know the work, skill, concentration and preparation it takes to do a job with such flawlessness 🫡🤌🏾🔥

I think the price is reasonable. If I'm spending two days at a job it has to be $4,000 minimum! $5k preferably.
Does that include partial days.
$1 million dollars is my minimum😅
@@iffykidmn8170 no. Two full days. If the second day is a half day, I'll either just enjoy the time off, or book a smaller job to go with it.
Cool to see the older gentleman come up to you and be able to relive his past watching you work.
If life was a video game, that moss beard would boost your Tree Felling skill by +10 when worn

You prove over and over again the benefit of having the right equipment for the job. Really enjoy watching you and your crew work.

There was a crew in my neighborhood taking down a couple of hackberry trees. I took a walk by and thought of you guys. Love your videos.

Randy looks like a total Bada++ cutting logs laying on the chipper!
You’re killing me like Apple TV. I only get one episode at a time.? I don’t like to wait for my Timber cutting. 😅

that tie in point in the bucket isnt safe or legal. there should be a proper attachment point for the harness to attach to.

For some reason the audio sounds garbled at times when you talk
$10k min

Sounds good on paper but you lost the job because you got underbid.
Like this tree is problematic for sure. Hey it is what it is.
