    This came in very handy because I was trying to do the wheat cable scarf and you were making it in dark grey with a black background and I couldn’t see the stitches well so I looked this up…. can now go back to the scarf 🎉

    Thank you! I'm making a blanket for a cousin who is not feeling well. This is an easy stitch and you do a great job of demonstrating it.

      Janice Gilyard thanks for letting me know! This is one of my favorite textured stitches.

    Very easy pattern. I'm making a baby blanket for my niece. How should I finish the four sides?

    Hi Bonnie. I love this wattle stitch that you created❤️🧶How would I go about decreasing by one on each side of the row?

      You can work a single crochet in the last wattle stitch of the row and then turn.

    Do you have a written pattern for this stitch?

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  5 років тому

      No, but here's one: Start with any multiple of 3 + 1, Row 1: starting in 3rd ch from hook [(sc, ch 1, dc) in ch, sk next 2 ch] across, hdc in last ch. Row 2: Ch 2, working only in the ch-1 sp, (sc, ch 1, dc) in each ch-1 sp across, hdc in ch-2 space. Repeat Row 2.

      @@BonnieBayCrochet Isn’t that a moss stitch? Or linen stitch?

      @BonnieBayCrochet  Рік тому

      @@Blessed-2-b-a-Hembree I learned this as the Wattle Stitch from a crochet stitch publication. I believe the Moss Stitch is a bit more compact. That said, these stitches are often given different stitches by different regions.
