this was always so neat to listen to before the ride started. you could almost faintly hear the neighboring elevator shafts operating too; it really added to the ambiance. i'm really gonna miss this :')
It's also really clever how they would disguise the screaming guests in the moving elevator with a hissing steam effect. You'd be able to tell when the drop sequence was starting because the sounds in the boarding room would get louder to mask the shaft sounds. You have to admire their ability to turn a noise problem into an opportunity for more atmosphere in the soundtrack.
@@clayflix9569 I suspected that the increasing volume of the sound was to hide the cries of the other guests. On the other hand, I was convinced that the hiss of steam was not in the soundtrack but simply the sound of the elevator motor when it fell.

Omg I love these noises, I wish Florida's had them but they don't really need them as the shaft isn't behind the loading area.
This is incredible! I'm building a scale model of the Tower and was worried I'd need to custom mix audio for the ambience. I can't wait to see what else you post Tower related.

Amazing! These eerie sound effects is what made Tower of Terror so distinct and unique. Just the music is enough to make you surely scared. Guardians of the Galaxy is nothing when compared to this.

Riding Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout gave anger and rage a whole new meaning for me. Couldn't help but rant all day about what an awful ride experience that was. The exterior also looks crappy.

Hope you enjoy Florida's tower! Personally, I felt this one had more of a realistic experience compared to Florida's, but Florida's is still great. DCA's had little things like this that made me like it better.
